Sacramento, CA -(AmmoLand.com)- After the Gunpocalypse frenzy in June, you might have thought California legislators were done for the year. But, just like that annoying house guest who just won’t get the hint, they are coming back.
They just took a break to jet to Europe or attend political conventions.
California’s legislative session doesn’t actually end until 11:59 PM on August 31st. Which will then give the Governor until September 30th to sign or veto any legislation that lands on his desk.
As of right now, we know that there are 10 anti-gun bills alive right now authored by the same people that tried to eviscerate your right to own a firearm last month!

These include the brand new, gutted-and amended ABs 450 and 466, by Assembly member Kevin McCarty (D-Sacramento) that both seek to make concealed carry permits exclusive to the rich and politically connected.
AB 1373 seeks to ban speech related to firearms in advertising. SB 1407 could be used as a “ghost gun” clean-up bill. And a whole slew of other bills exempt certain classes of people from following many of the “gun control” laws.
And it’s still very likely that the shifty California Legislature will try to gut-and-amend various bills in order to further erode the Second Amendment.
We have seen them do this in the past, and this year we have seen them do it over and over (and over) again.
In addition, Kamala Harris, the raving anti-gun Attorney General, and her CA Department of Justice will be crafting regulations to go along with the Gunpocalypse bills already signed, and we’ll need to watch them closely.
BEAT THESE ANTI-GUN BILLS IN AUGUST
Depending on what she crafts, it could be the final nail in the coffin for the Second Amendment.
Needless to say, we still have a ton of work ahead of us.
