Milford, NH -(Ammoland.com)- Last week Scott told you about the release of our 2016 Primary Election Grades. (Click here to see our grades.)

I am writing today to remind you to carefully study them before Tuesday, September 13.  I also want to call your attention to a few selected races.  We told you in some detail about the Gubernatorial candidates.  Please consider our points as you consider the candidates.

The Executive Council is often overlooked but vitally important.  We are concerned about Manchester Alderman and District 4 Executive Council Candidate Joseph Kelly Levasseur.  Mr. Levasseur has refused to stand for the rule of law and the Second Amendment in Manchester.  In 2004 pre-emption became law and cities and towns were prohibited from regulating firearms.  Despite this, Mr. Levasseur as an Alderman has allowed the Verizon Arena (now the SNHU Arena) to ban the carrying of firearms.  The arena is owned by the City of Manchester! Apparently Alderman Levasseur is quite comfortable with the City of Manchester violating a state law and having law abiding citizens who would like to attend a concert or hockey game being disarmed.

The good news is that his opponent, Jim Adams returned his survey 100% pro gun and we have graded him A.

In State Senate Districts 1 and 16, Leon Rideout and Joe Duarte, respectively, have both earned the NHFC Grade of A+ for their longtime Second Amendment activism.  If you live in District 1 or 16 please thank these 2 heros for their support of Second Amendment civil rights.  In both of these districts, their opponents, Dolly McPhaul and Don Winterton have refused to return a completed NHFC Candidate Survey.  This is a sign of outright hostility to Second Amendment rights.

I would be remiss if I didn’t remind you to review the grades for the candidates for Federal Offices.  Anti-gun promise  breaker Kelly Ayotte has refused to return her NHFC survey but she is being challenged by A rated former State Senator Jim Rubens who returned his survey 100% pro-gun.

In the 1st Congressional District A rated pro-gun US Congressman Frank Guinta is running for re-election.  Congressman Guinta has sponsored a long list of pro-gun bills and he returned his NHFC Candidate Survey 100% pro-gun.  Sadly, anti-gun lobbyist, F rated Rich Ashooh has refused to return his NHFC survey.  But we know he stands for gun control because he said so on the radio.

In the 2nd Congressional District A rated Jim Lawrence is running against anti-gun State Rep. Jack Flanagan.

We have done extensive reporting on all the Federal Candidates.  Click here for the information on the incumbents, and click here for the reports on the challengers.

Their are a lot of A rated candidates running for state representative this year.  Patriots who have pledged to support the Second Amendment.

Please take some time to read and learn about the candidates and their views on the Second Amendment.

About New Hampshire Firearms Coalition:

The New Hampshire Firearms Coalition is New Hampshire’s only No Compromise Gun Rights Organization. While many so-called “gun rights groups” work to curry favor with politicians and the media, NHFC is working aggressively to hold politicians accountable and to put a stop to gun control.

Katie Berg, sad when someone has to lie and cheat to win, call me after the election and I will represent Rich Ashooh in a slander suit against this cheater.

Joe Levasseur

Where did you come up with this baloney? Desperate to cheat to win? Wow!

Katie Berg

Rich Ashooh is a member of the NRA and a lifelong member of his gun club in Hooksett, NH. How does he get an F?!?! Is it literally just because he didn’t answer the survey? And you say he’s for gun control? Why? Because he believes law-abiding citizens deserve the right to bear arms? To me that sounds like logic! Instead you support career politician Frank Guinta because he has voted on legislation? Where is the logic in that? But hey! Do what you want! This girl will be voting for RICH ASHOOH who gives the Republican Party the BEST… Read more »
