USA -(AmmoLand.com)- STI International recently hosted an intern through the All American Caliber Program, which is funded by the Duskin & Stephens Foundation.
All American Caliber assists SOF (Special Operations Forces) Soldiers with post-military career development through corporate internships, career mentoring and individualized professional guidance. The transition from a military way of life to a civilian career is a crucial time for Special Operations Soldiers. The Duskin & Stephens Foundation’s All American Caliber Program pairs SOF Soldiers nearing military retirement with businesses for a four-week, unpaid internship. The goal of the experience is to help Soldiers recognize that many of their military skills do translate to corporate America.
“We’re excited to be a part of such a worthwhile program,” said STI International President and CEO, Greg Mooney. “The transition to civilian life can be difficult for our military men and women and this program helps them see where they fit into the workforce once they leave the Service.”
