USA -(Ammoland.com)- Last night, at the League of Women Voter’s forum on gun control legislation in Bloomington, Caucus Team Leader Sarah C. and I saw a glimpse of what is to come in 2017 if we do not hold a Pro-Second Amendment majority in the Minnesota House of Representatives:
- Politically motivated gun “research“
- A complete ban on semi-automatic rifles
- A “red flag” restraining order that allows any anti-gun neighbor or local activist to petition to have your firearms seized without even having a chance to defend yourself in court
- Universal Background Checks
- Registration of firearms
- Secret government “watchlists” that will be used to deprive you of your constitutional rights
We need to mobilize NOW to keep the politicians that want these policies out of office.
Meet two of Michael Bloomberg’s favorite candidates for the Minnesota House of Representatives:
Lindsey Port, who is running against our endorsed candidate Roz Peterson, in House District 56B wants you to think that she believes in your freedoms, liberties, and constitutional rights — but that infringing upon your 2nd Amendment right is “reasonable.”
Thomas Trehus wants you to think that he’s a strong supporter of the Second Amendment – and will tell you all about owning firearms, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
Meanwhile, in front of other audiences, he’ll tell you that the NRA is a sick, twisted, and evil organization… and you don’t really need to own that AR-15 rifle that you’ve been eyeing.
He’s running against our A-rated and endorsed candidate Rep. Greg Davids, who has been a friend to Minnesota’s law-abiding gun owners for years.
Today is the time to get involved.
There are 13 days left until the election – it’s time to get off the sidelines and into this fight.
We’re making our final decisions on direct mail, phone bankings, and digital advertising in the next 24 hours, but we need YOUR HELP immediately to go after these two anti-gun candidates.
