USA – -(Ammoland.com)- NRA Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Wayne LaPierre delivered an urgent message to America’s 100 million gun owners, declaring Hillary Clinton an enemy to the Second Amendment. “If, God forbid, Hillary Clinton is elected, she will launch an all-out war on the Second Amendment. She will come for your guns,” says LaPierre. “She will attack your right to carry. She will attack your most basic right to defend your family with a firearm in your home.”

Before asserting that Hillary Clinton “dreams of twisting a knife into the heart of the one freedom that separates us from the rest of the world,” LaPierre outlined the failures of Barrack Obama. “While radical Islamic terrorists shot, bombed and butchered innocent Americans on our own soil, Barack Obama attacked you harder than he attacked ISIS,” says LaPierre. “He used the terrorism his own weakness and failures made possible to try to gut your right to shoot back at the terrorists he refused to kill.”

In his passionate appeal to stop Hillary Clinton’s drive to dismantle the Second Amendment, LaPierre called upon the American people who are tired of the elitists plaguing America: “If you refuse to witness the self-destruction of the greatest nation the world has ever known, then join me.”

In his call to arms, LaPierre reminded the American majority—those who believe in freedom and still hold true a government for the people by the people—that “you are the special forces that swing elections.”

From the lies of Obamacare to the elites’ failure to protect Americans from ISIS, to the all-out siege Hillary Clinton will unleash on every American who believes in the Second Amendment, LaPierre has sent a message: “The only thing that can stop her is you.”

    1. Roy:
You’re not paying attention; no one will come for your guns. Your paranoia is getting the better of you. Please do not offer promises of violence where none is called for.
Instead, plan your purchases carefully. Attend gun shows and buy your ammo now (check California’s ammo tax to see why). Use cash, not credit cards. (A little paranoia of my own there.)

      1. @Big Bill, The CADOJ has a unit that comes out and takes your guns, by force if necessary, if someone (anyone) makes an allegation of spousal (or girl/boy friend) abuse, mental instability, rumor of restraining order, or several other allegations. No conviction, no adjudication, no TRO issuance necessary. I believe that hiLIARy will use the bureaucracy, the judiciary, taxation, and seizure techniques to destroy our Second Amendment Civil Rights.

        1. You’re sort of right.
The allegation must be made to a judge, who then weighs the merits of the claim.
I knew this, but forgot to mention it.

We will have to wait and see if this is really a public safety measure, or a gun control measure.

    2. I’m out trying to get Trump elected! But, if Hillary wins, then I guess that it’ll be a Good Day to Die! Because if she can find a Cop Stupid enough to come for my Guns, Well, some one will have a BAD DAY!

    3. There is no doubt that Hillary wants to diminish people’s second amendment rights. She has made it abundantly clear on several occasions.

I do agree however that there will never be an Australian style gun confiscation as it would create a civil uprising and the progressives know that.

The way they will eliminate firearm ownership will be much the same way cigarette smoking was eliminated . It will be done through taxation and negative brainwashing of the future generation.

There are still SOME smokers today however, I don’t know how old you are but you might recall a time when ALOT of people smoked cigarettes. People were allowed to smoke in restaurants, airports, elevators, and even airplanes. This was the case up until the mid 80’s if I remember correctly.

The government effectively stopped smoking by slowly eroding away at an individual right of choice:
      1) Through negative advertising against smoking on national tv and magazine ads.
      2) Through courses of scare tactic instruction to our young students in school about second hand smoke and photos and videos of cancer caused by cigarettes. This was probably the most effective means to ensure future generation support of their policies.
      3) Through claims of rising insurance costs due to treatment for smoking related illness even though smokers didn’t lie on their insurance questionnaires paid a higher premium for being a smoker.

The progressives made their goal a reality by being patient and utilizing the local government ordinances mandating smoking and smoke free areas, media coverage and taxation to basically eradicate smoking in a relatively short 25-30 year period. Remember, they never confiscated your cigarettes or said you can’t smoke entirely. Smokers were just ostracized and taxed out of their habit. Yes I WAS a smoker.

The same was done with equipment/vehicle exhaust emissions under the guise of global warming. They never came and confiscated your car or said you couldn’t drive but now the average pick-up costs 50,000 and up to be environmentally compliant. You pay more for kilowatt hour for electric due to power plants paying to jump through EPA hoop restrictions on power plant stack emissions

Now I’m not a scientist so I don’t know whether global warming is true or not or if it is maybe it’s just a natural occurrence. I’m just not that intelligent. I also am not condoning or vilifying cigarettes. I don’t want to start those debates, I’m just pointing out how they made changes to the way we live as a society to fit their beliefs.
The same will happen in regards to firearm ownership. If you look it’s happening already:
      1) There are gun free zones.
      2) Negative advertising, “guns are bad, gun violence, smart gun reform”. Most of which is aimed at youth.
      3) Taxation (The latest ITAR change for example) I remember when a pack of cigarettes were 50 cents. Now they are $9.00 in some areas. I wonder how high that box of ammo or reloading supplies can get?
4)Talks of “smart guns” and $10,000 liability insurance for each weapon owned.

So for everyone who says “they’ll never confiscate weapons” you’re probably right. They have much more effective ways of ridding their liberal utopia of firearms.

I’m 52 years old and I have seen the gradual progression to what we have today. I am retired Navy and I served my country to ensure individual rights and freedoms but I sometimes see veteran’s sacrifices were in vain.

I remember being a kid and going to K-mart to buy a model kit and paint and glue to put it together. Kids today can’t do that because you have to be 18 to buy model paint and glue. The government shut that down.

I remember going to the store and buying my first Daisy 99 and BB’s when I was 10 years old with money saved from mowing lawns. Today that would never happen. Once again the government said “no, no”.

I believe my parents generation is responsible for the beginning of the movement with the 60’s flower child, peace and love movement. This in itself is rather ironic as they were anti-establishment, down with government people yet they push for the political reduction in someone else’s personal rights or beliefs that contradict with their own. These are the individuals on the ballot now.

I also blame my generation myself included, for basically being asleep at the wheel and allowing these personal right of choice infringements to happen. We stood by with the attitude of “what can I do” while our rights were slowly eroded. We did not get passionate enough to take a stand and make the changes necessary to ensure a country based on the Constitution and individual rights.

The same is happening with gun ownership and I fear that train has already left the station and is picking up speed. I do believe that gun rights will eventually go the way of the DO-DO.

Once Billary gets in there let the changes begin.

Online gun/ammo sales will be gone.

Get ready for the ammo tax for “gun education” and “anti-gun violence” advertising. Once again if we use cigarettes as a guideline they increased in price approximately 2000% so if a box of 9mm is lets say $15.00 then get ready to pay $300.00 for the same 50 rounds.

Don’t forget to purchase your liability insurance for each weapon you own (10 weapons at $10,000 each, $100,000 please) and being a political hot button don’t think the insurance companies will go easy on the rates.

      National registration data bases.

Oh and don’t forget the “buy back” programs. I for one love these. The government uses my tax dollars to “buy back” my property from me which they never owned to begin with, .

Trump was never my first choice. I also don’t believe in a two party system. I wish there was a third or fourth choice. I am also a realist however, and none of the independents have a clue or a chance right now and public opinion cannot be turned in 16 days.

I believed from day one that Trump was a Clinton plant to ensure her victory but maybe, hopefully, God willing, that was just my tin foil hat being on too tight.

“The Donald” is a progressive of that there is no doubt, but Billary is a socialist and of that there is no doubt.

I will say that as time has progressed I do think he believes in what he says. He is 70 years old, a multi-millionaire, and has children to run his empire. He definitely does not need the measly 500 thousand a year presidential salary. He could retire today and let his kids give him a check every month.

I myself feel with her you KNOW what you’re getting. With Trump, we don’t know so we can only hope and vote with the best of intentions of saving our Constitution. If we don’t unite then all will truly be lost.

    4. No, they will not come for our guns.
I do not advocate violence, but it’s a given that doing so will result in mass mayhem and death.
There are other ways to get rid of our guns.

One that would be very effective is to simply declare some types of guns as banned. (Remember the “assault weapon” ban?)
Then, they outlaw the transfer of some (and eventually all) guns. When you die, the guns go to the state. Gun trusts will be prohibited from adding new members. When the last member dies, the guns go to the state.
I’m not saying anything new here; it’s been proposed before. And it will be effective in removing guns from the hands of law abiding people.

Yes, it’s illegal. So was the “assault weapon” ban.
It would require a national gun registry, also illegal. The data is available, though, through the NICS system (and if you think that data isn’t stored someplace, dream on).

The left really likes the paranoid idea of the government coming to your house to collect your guns. They know it will never happen, but they love pointing out the paranoid rantings of a vocal few. They know that it won’t be done. Don’t give them that ammo, but be prepared for what will come.
Little steps. Already, a new “assault weapon ban” is proposed. Yes, the last one didn’t work, but this one will be better, banning whole types, not so much by definition only, but also “similar types.” MA’s AG showed the way, even though she was told to stop it.
Little steps. California passed a law to require a NICS-like check for ammo purchases. The next step: to simply ban certain types and calibers of ammo.
Little steps: as goes California, so goes the country.

        1. I certainly don’t have all the answers, but…
We need to not just continue to deplore gun violence when it happens, but press the fact that there are two completely different types of gun users: the criminals, and the legal gun owners.
There is, as an example, street racing. It’s illegal, and dangerous. But we don’t see a concerted effort to get rid of organized drag racing, because they have made it very clear that the two are not connected. We need to do the same thing, by being very vocal about our opposition to the criminals who use guns.
We need to get more publicity about the good that legal gun owners do, like donating game meat to local charities. We need to get the word out that it’s the sportsmen and women who fund conservation efforts directly.
These would help, but there’s obviously more to be done to demonstrate to the hoplophobes that their fears are based on a fallacy pushed by those who would wish to control, rather than solve a problem.

          1. Violence is violence. Guns don’t commit violence. Let’s not fall into the trap of using the made up language of the Second Amendment Civil Rights socialists.

    5. The rest of their lives. That is subjective at best. some resign some just pass away. That sounds like a dangerous job to me. The last guy wnet in his prime as a judje, people get Cancer and heart attacks all the time.

    6. Your a Hero and a Patriot. Let’s get the 100 million gun owners mobilized. This fairytale the Hillary and Demorats are pushing shall not stand. They want a fight, we will give them one.

      1. While not engaging Gil I do believe in practice making perfect. He, inadvertently, makes the case for more ranges and more range time for all of us. I’m sure he’d be willing to contribute to building more ranges so we could drop in on our lunch hour or to/from work.

Great idea Gil, you get a gold star of the day award!

    7. “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
What part of this doesn’t our Government understand?
