USA -(Ammoland.com)- The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) is recruiting a dynamic and strategic leader for its new Director of Conservation and Community Outreach position.

This position requires a forward-thinking, marketing-minded individual capable of building strong coalitions and partnerships around a uniquely qualified and extremely robust volunteer workforce.

As the USA approaches its 100th volunteer conservation project and 10th anniversary, the need for an experienced, passionate leader to elevate the organization to the next level of influence and conservation impact is clear.

Working closely with the Executive Director, the Director of Conservation and Community Outreach will organize and oversee all USA conservation programs, including identifying, organizing, and executing volunteer based conservation projects; identifying and securing partnerships; and growing recruitment and retention programs for hunters, anglers and recreational shooters.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, program administration, volunteer organization and a proven track record building coalitions in the conservation community.

The USA’s broad range of conservation projects include restoring wildlife habitats, improving outdoor access through infrastructure construction, remodeling and restoration, as well as hosting community outdoor outreach efforts.

The Director of Conservation and Community Outreach will work closely with a robust and skilled union labor volunteer work force, as well as leverage relationships with federal and state resource agencies, other non-profit conservation groups and local governments and organizations committed to conservation and outdoor heritage.

The USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting the union community through conservation to preserve North America’s outdoor heritage.

The USA has a potential reach of more than 8 million labor union members who fish, hunt, shoot or recreate outdoors.

By engaging like-minded individuals who share a passion for the outdoors, USA connects the union community with conservation partners using unique trade skills to expand, enhance and improve public access and provide programs that educate people who want to learn about and experience the outdoors.
