DENVER, Colo. -(Ammoland.com)- Hunter, angler, devoted father and husband, professional golfer, and survivor of a 400-foot fall from an Alaskan mountainside only sums up a few of the qualities of Jon Baker.
Beginning December 31 at 1:30 p.m. ET, Sportsman Channel viewers will see Baker’s life more in-depth in: Jon Baker’s Guide 4 Adventure.
Airing year ‘round exclusively on Sportman Channel with fishing the focus the first half of the year, Baker’s show will emphasize the host’s genuine love of the outdoors and “America’s Last Frontier” – Alaska. Joining Baker are co-hosts Brad Bonnett and Dorian Thompson, who help guide viewers on fishing adventures around breathtaking scenery, near misses with wild prey and more.
“This is not only our job; this is our life, our passion and our love,” effused Baker, host. “Our series is remote and has raw and real emotion. We are breaking the mold of conventional fishing television while simultaneously telling great stories with beautiful footage, filmed entirely in ‘bucket list’ locations. Viewers won’t be disappointed.”
First half episode highlights include a well-overdue trip and research for the mysterious Alaskan fish – The Nelna (Sheefish).
The entire Baker Guide team is together for Jon and Brad’s birthdays on Swinging up a Dream when they swing flies for rainbow trout at the Blue Fly Inn. And don’t miss Kids Fish for Free as the team invites their family on a trip to create memories casting lines together.
