ACCOKEEK, Md. –-(Ammoland.com)- Benelli USA recently recognized the exceptional performances of its sales team in 2016 when it named its sales representatives of the year and other prestigious award winners.
Awards were given to sales representatives based on a host of criteria, including the completion of sales goals and personal contributions to the overall success of Benelli USA and its family of brands, which includes Benelli, Franchi, Stoeger, Uberti USA and Stoeger Airguns.
“It’s a priority for us to recognize and celebrate the successes of our sales representatives,” said Benelli USA Director of Sales and Channel Management JP Fischer of the awards, which were presented during the 2017 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. “This is just one more way we can show our appreciation for the many things they do for us.”
Benelli USA named a Sales Representative of the Year for each of its five brands. In addition, the company named Chase Spurgin the Benelli USA Sales Representative of the Year, recognizing him for his strong performance across all brands in 2016. One group award, Benelli USA Agency of the Year, went to Owen J. Brown & Associates.
Gary Witherspoon received the prestigious Super Black Eagle Award from Benelli USA in addition to being named the Uberti USA Sales Rep of the Year. The Super Black Eagle Award is the highest honor given to Benelli USA sales reps and is awarded to the individual who had an exceptional sales year and best embodied the spirit and values of Benelli USA as evidenced through their passion for the outdoors and a commitment to collaboration and integrity.
“Gary has been doing this a long time and doing it the right way,” Fischer said. “He maintains wonderful relationships handling major accounts and had a great year overall. Gary is a person who is a model for others seeking success in this industry.”
