USA -(Ammoland.com)- Oath-breaking California politician Kevin De Léon proving he doesn't know what he's talking about, and using that to scare the ignorant and the fearful into more infringements on their rights.

“California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) that ‘half his family' was in the country illegally, using false documents, and eligible for deportation under President Trump's new executive order against ‘sanctuary' jurisdictions,” former California State Assemblyman Tim Donnelly reported on Breitbart“De Léon, who introduced the bill, made his remarks at a hearing in Sacramento on SB54, the bill to make California a ‘Sanctuary State.'”

In addition to defending the practice of obtaining fraudulent documents and dismissing citizen concerns over identity theft, De Léon “expressed outrage” that it should be a deportable offense for foreign nationals – already here illegally – to then falsely obtain a Social Security card.

That's even though any person who “willfully, knowingly, and with intent to deceive, uses a social security account number, assigned by the Commissioner of Social Security … to establish and maintain records) on the basis of false information furnished to the Commissioner of Social Security by him or by any other person … shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction thereof shall be fined under title 18, United States Code, or imprisoned for not more than five years, or both.”

As is typical, the law is what De Léon and his fellow California “progressives” say it is. Laws they oppose are to be disregarded. In other words, he stands for lawlessness and tyranny.

The thing is, they don't extend that same entitlement to the non-elite citizenry. They're too busy stripping them of their rights.

Case in point, De Léon's oath of office was a mere ceremonial formality. Because where the Second Amendment is concerned, he never saw an infringement he didn't like, author, co-sponsor or vote for. He's so against guns, he's even against guns that don't exist (except in his ignorant and/or opportunistic mind):

De Léon said he is trying to address a twin threat from what he called “ghost guns” – plastic guns that can slip through metal detectors and unregistered weapons that can fall into the hands of people who are legally prohibited from owning firearms under state law.

He brags about his citizen disarmament “victories.”

This year, he led the charge for the most stringent gun control policies in a generation, leading efforts to approve 11 measures, including his groundbreaking bill, SB 1235, which requires background checks for anyone who buys or sells ammunition.

About Oath Keepers:

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders, who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” That oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution itself, is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and Oath Keepers declare that they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as “enemy combatants” in violation of their ancient right to jury trial. See the Oath Keepers Declaration of Orders We Will Not Obey for details.

Doesn’t this apply to Barry Soetoro (aka Barak Obama) who is using the SSAN of a dead person from Connecticut?

Clark, there are many reasons people can’t move. Employment, health, health of family members, to name just a few. Yes, I think those who don’t like the climate (political or otherwise) where they are should make every effort to move, but sometimes it just isn’t practical. California is a prime example of just how a few large cities can rule how a large state operates. The voters in those cities manage to dictate to large swaths of rural areas, visiting their fears relating to living in cities full of illegals and felons-in-training onto everyone else. Look at California and understand… Read more »

Maybe, just maybe, someone needs to investigate where and how his family came up with the falsified documents mentioned. That would be a federal crime and I would be willing to bet that it ties back to the idiot politician.

There are at this time a great many that would love to get out of this state but for the lack of money we are not able to move, that being said and done the creatures that have been pushing all these anti gun bills are in fact protected by the very guns they want to take from the rest of us. The creature known as keven (the ghost gun) de leon is so stupid when it comes to guns that he should go back to the slime pit he crawled out of. That thing event went so far as… Read more »

His advisors are just as bad…he had Sheriffs testify to support his BS. And when asked by legislators if his proposals will stop mass shootings all he could say was these “controls” are worth it even if they only save one life. Really? And he is totally clueless when it comes to “ghost” guns. The real ghost guns are coming in to Oakland by the container load from countries such as the Philippines. Can only hope Trump forces his illegal family members back to Mexico. He needs to feel the sting of the law.

Why aren’t federal laws being enforced on “officials” like this being arrested fore adding and harboring felons ?
They have already confessed to the crime. They are no different than you or I. Bragging about committing a crime
does not exempt you from prosecution.

Moving is not really the answer because it lets the evil doers win. The answer is to get rid of those that would deprive us of our Civil Rights. The minorities of California are trying to get rid of white people so that they can have it to themselves. They want all the southwestern states that used to be part of Mexico. Just ask La Raza. They make no secret of it.

But, . . . . But, . . . . . Butt, . . . . . THE WEATHER IS PURRRFECT!

(and if that’s the reason for staying inside such a Marxist State, you deserve every bit of the torture!)

With him openly admittingly knowing there are people in his own family breaking the law, wouldn’t this make him ineligible to be working anywhere as a person of Authority? With him conspiring with these criminals, he should be in jail as a co-conspirator with these criminals? Why is he not in jail? How in the hell is this man working for the government of California? Lock his ass up ASAP.

Are you kidding? Look what it took to get Yee put in jail. And he only got 5 years, for something that would have gotten any of us 20 to life. Selling full auto not only to gangs, but to terrorists who hate America. The politicians are above the law, and option 3 is getting far closer than it ever should.

I wish I could say the man is an embarrassment to the state of Kalifornistan but this is typical of the socialist left we have here. No compromise on anything the socialists dont like.

Then why in the world do you still live in California? Are your feet nailed to the floor? MOVE. You do realize YOUR TAX DOLLARS pay the salary for this idiot slimeball politician who blatantly violates YOUR RIGHTS?

I would never move or even visit Kalifornistan, even though I live in Arizona. I can understand why native Californians stay in there home state. They really need a “Trump” type movement to get their state back.
