This year’s auction will feature one installment of the largest assembly of Canadian Decoys to ever be offered at auction.
The collection, built by Peter Brown, from Vancouver, British Columbia, is now in the possession of Ducks Unlimited Canada, who will be the beneficiary of all proceeds from the sale. Mr. Brown’s collection consists primarily of Canadian decoys, with fine examples from coast to coast.
Many of the decoys are photographed in Canadian decoy books like “Traditions in Wood” by Patricia Fleming and “Ontario Decoys” by Bernie Gates.
