ELEYU.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- ELEY re-introduced ELEY standard this past weekend at the NRA annual meetings and exhibits. As ELEY continues to establish itself as the most accurate and demanding .22LR available in the world, they recognized a need in the market that wasn’t being filled.

“Price conscious shooters deserve accurate and reliable .22LR as well,” said Jamie Corkish, PR and Marketing Manager for North America, “We decided to bring back a product we had many years ago, to allow shooters of all ages and levels to experience and trust ELEY’s un-rivaled accuracy at an affordable price.”

ELEY’s technology and innovation drives each and every product to outperform the competition at every level of the product range, ELEY standard is no different. With the re-introduction of standard, ELEY added a paraffin-wax lube to the bullet for consistent and reliable function through all rimfire firearms, including semi-automatic.

ELEY standard is loaded with a 40 grain, round-nose bullet with an average velocity of 1090 fps. ELEY standard will be available exclusively in a 500 round bulk pack priced at $49.99 MSRP. I shoot a lot of Eley ammo that is a lot less than $10/50 rd.
Seems to me that $6/box is typical and I get great results too.

Oops, I see that is on’y $5/50 rd…my bad!

And this article had an MSRP! Thank You Mr. Johnson! My only negative is that the parrafin wax can get soft and or collect dust, grit or lint if carried in a pocket. AS usual, Eley is TOP Shelf ammo. The Best for those of us that still want a clean can after a brick or 2 of ammo. The only upgrade would be bricks of all the other listings. At least the lot numbers would be the same. Also, requesting a Eley counter part to the slow CCI Quiet-22 thumpers…..

I get JHPs 1250 fps for 7 cents a round. Why would I buy LRN 1090 fps rounds for 10 cents a round?

I’m sorry, a dime a round for .22 LR doesn’t seem like much of a savings to me. Not for everyday ammo. Eley makes nice stuff, but I thought that we were talking about competing with standard ammo prices, otherwise, what’s the point?

$50.00 for a $20.00 box of .22LR… Uhhhhhhhhhh NO.

Please let me know where you can buy a brick of 500 for $20.00.
Best I’ve found lately is $23.50 for a brick.

I never pay more than .06 a round for quality 22 lr here in Texas. And, I’m not talking about that subsonic stuff either.
