  • First story- Are you armed as you arrive home?  You return home at about 10 in the morning.  Unfortunately, a robber is waiting for you.  He follows you to the door and forces his way inside.  He then tries to take your purse and your phone.  You fight.  You grab your handgun and shoot your attacker.
  • Second story- Are you armed at work late at night.  You work at a liquor store.  It is never completely safe.  Yesterday, the police visited the store to warn you about a series of liquor store robberies in the area.  It is 11 at night when a man walks in wearing a ski mask.  It isn’t cold outside.  The masked man presents a gun and starts yelling at you to get down on the floor.  You draw your pistol.
  • Third Story- Are you armed when you visit a sports bar?  You’re sitting in a sports bar with family and friends when you hear the yelling.  A stranger is yelling at everyone.  The restaurant manager goes over to talk the the man.  The stranger is upset, and the manager is trying to calm him down.  The stranger yells louder, then he pulls a gun from his pocket and shoots the manager.  You tell your wife to get on the floor.  You crouch down and draw your own firearm.  People are running wildly.  The attacker is shooting towards people as they run for the front door.  The crowd thins for a second and you take your shot.

Rob I love your work. Here is a slow fact that is important. ” Zona Caliente Sports Bar and Grill” in spite of its name is NOT legally a bar under the definitions of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code. It does not get 51% or more of its income from sale of alcohol for on premises consumption, and thus does not display the red “Felony 51” sign. A Texas LTC holder cannot legally carry in a “bar” and the bar must display the “51” sign as a warning. Zona Caliente is legally a restaurant that serves alcohol and thus it… Read more »
