Flag Burning
The U.S. flag is just as offensive as Nazi and Islamic State flags and that the U.S. is the world's most evil nation.

USA – -(Ammoland.com)- Parents, taxpayers and donors have little idea of the levels of lunacy, evil and lawlessness that have become features of many of today's institutions of higher learning.

Parents, taxpayers and donors who ignore or are too lazy to find out what goes on in the name of higher education are nearly as complicit as the professors and administrators who promote or sanction the lunacy, evil and lawlessness.

As for the term “institutions of higher learning,” we might start asking: Higher than what? Let's look at a tiny sample of academic lunacy.

During a campus debate, Purdue University professor David Sanders argued that a logical extension of pro-lifers' belief that fetuses are human beings is that pictures of “a butt-naked body of a child” are child pornography. Clemson University's chief diversity officer, Lee Gill, who's paid $185,000 a year to promote inclusion, provided a lesson claiming that to expect certain people to be on time is racist.

To reduce angst among snowflakes in its student body, the University of California, Hastings College of the Law has added a “Chill Zone.” The Chill Zone, located in its library, has, just as most nursery schools have, mats for naps and beanbag chairs. Before or after a snooze, students can also use the space to do a bit of yoga or meditate. The University of Michigan Law School helped its students weather their Trump derangement syndrome — a condition resulting from Donald Trump's election — by enlisting the services of an “embedded psychologist” in a room full of bubbles and play dough.

To reduce pressure on law students, Joshua M. Silverstein, a law professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, thinks that “every American law school ought to substantially eliminate C grades and set its good academic standing grade point average at the B- level.”

Today's academic climate might be described as a mixture of infantilism, kindergarten and totalitarianism. The radicals, draft dodgers and hippies of the 1960s who are now college administrators and professors are responsible for today's academic climate. The infantilism should not be tolerated, but more important for the future of our nation are the totalitarianism and the hate-America lessons being taught at many of the nation's colleges.

For example, led by its student government leader, the University of California, Irvine's student body voted for a motion, which the faculty approved, directing that the American flag not be on display because it makes some students uncomfortable and creates an unsafe, hostile environment. The flag is a symbol of hate speech, according to the student government leader. He said that the U.S. flag is just as offensive as Nazi and Islamic State flags and that the U.S. is the world's most evil nation.

In a recent New York Times op-ed, New York University provost Ulrich Baer argued:

“The idea of freedom of speech does not mean a blanket permission to say anything anybody thinks. It means balancing the inherent value of a given view with the obligation to ensure that other members of a given community can participate in discourse as fully recognized members of that community.”

That's a vision that is increasingly being adopted on college campuses, and it's leaking down to our primary and secondary levels of education. Baer apparently believes that the test for one's commitment to free speech comes when he balances his views with those of others. His vision justifies the violent disruptions of speeches by Heather Mac Donald at Claremont McKenna College, Milo Yiannopoulos at UC Berkeley and Charles Murray at Middlebury College. Baer's vision is totalitarian nonsense. The true test of one's commitment to free speech comes when he permits people to be free to say and write those things he finds deeply offensive.

Americans who see themselves as either liberal or conservative should rise up against this totalitarian trend on America's college campuses. I believe the most effective way to do so is to hit these campus tyrants where it hurts the most — in the pocketbook. Lawmakers should slash budgets, and donors should keep their money in their pockets.

    1. The college prof’s are laughing all the way to the bank as we think they are sell us down the river when they get their point across because this crap makes the news. we need to make it mandatory for all students to serve at least two years of military service before getting any school assistance and all educators to do at least three years and any school that doesn’t support the constitution doesn’t get any federal funds. any students or educators who are convicted of any felony will not be eligible for federal funds to go to school. Remember that when you swear an oath of allegiance to America there is no time limit to that oath .( I will protect my country from all enemies foreign and domestic)

      1. Kind of takes away from that whole vision of, freedom and liberty and pursuit of happiness thing, don’t you think?

    2. It is time to stop federal funds that support these liberal institutions. There are schools out there that do not accept federal money. I believe, however; that these schools are not Liberal.
If the US flag can’t fly, the US dollar is not needed.

    3. I cannot believe that this is the crap we have to listen to every single day!!! Someone is offended, someone feels unsafe, insecure, doesn’t like the beliefs of what this country is founded on and now the flag, are you shitting me. WTF is wrong with these people. If you don’t like what America has to offer then TYA.Many men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice to make this country better than ANY other country on the planet and all these people do is complain. I am sick of these whining, spoiled, cry babies that think they should get their way, protest everything but still expect all the benefits. We are going to end up in another civil war at this rate!!!

      1. No we won’t. Do a Google search for some of the Anti-Fa groups and their videos that they’re producing. They don’t understand the fundamentals of speaking in complete sentences let alone being able to stand together, unified, trained and disciplined enough to fight together against ANY civilized culture?

I had just seen a YouTube video of some young Anti-Fa punk named Dragonlord whining about getting his ass kicked by a guy they brought onboard to help train them militarily because the trainer found out they were communists.

I had seen another video where one of these snowflakes was saying something to the effect of, “Now pay close attention, this is important! If you hear a veteran or someone in the Army say that they were in the CAV, that means they were in a Combat Armored Vest like this one here that I am wearing except we don’t have the armored plates in it yet.

These little s*** sucking weasels are so stupid they don’t realize that when the Army says they were in the, “CAV” that it means they were in the CAVALRY!

      2. A lot of what is wrong is coming from the liberal mainstream media telling people how to feel, how to react and how to think. There are more problems such as the liberal college professors and elementary and secondary teachers and administrators. Let us be strong and re-group to maintain our strength. Attend the school board meetings in your community and let them know how you believe. Spread the message in your church and civic organizations.
Remember Winston Churchill’s statement: “We will never, never surrender”.

    4. Whomever doesn’t like it here should leave. Oour soldiers and Veterans have bled and died for our freedoms. We should send the snowflakes to another country but I believe we should just push them out of the plane as we fly over. With parachutes of course but they need to go.

        1. Along those lines, maybe we should designate the southern border as a good place for toxic waste disposal. No one wants it in their backyard, so make it serve a purpose. Build the wall out of nuclear waste and patrol it with drones. If anyone is stupid enough to cross it anyway, they’d be easy to track down, they’d glow in the dark.

          1. @Rico Hadn’t thought of that . Just a big open trench would do. Some of its god’s country anyway no one else want’s it.

      1. Oldvet, Jimbo66 didn’t state whether or not the parachutes should be operational. I fully agree with his statement, and yours, too.

    5. The “Socialistic State of Confusion “, aka California, should secede from the Union. What would we lose, Hollywood? Ha! That’s pretty funny. The US has a serious problem and that problem is the extreme liberal views of the educators who instruct (certainly not educate) our children. It is very disconcerting and very dangerous. I am glad I am 71 and will not have to watch the deteriotion of our nation as these snow flakes begin to enter roles of leadership.

      1. Leadership? They can’t lead their asses to a toilet seat as it is. What do you mean, “leadership”?

    6. This whole idea is offensive. 4 years ago, I had a high level of respect for educators. My daughter just graduated, college and let me tell you that respect level has hit bottom. It is just like fake news, they drill their beliefs, not education. This goes for all grade levels. Most educators are bullies, hippies from the 60″s. My cousin attended a college class where his political views and opinion differed from the professor. He was told to leave the class and not return.

As for our flag, if it offends you, get the hell out. Too many people have died to give us the rights we have that exceed any other country. How can you set there and say that your parents came here from Mexico for a better life, but the flag offends you. Go the hell back to Mexico. We are even paying the bill for his liberal education. Leave, we do not want your type here.

      1. I am not a big flag waver however when you try to compare the Stars and Stripes to the Nazi flag and to what they stand for, it makes me a little mad. As you correctly said; “As for our flag, if it offends you, get the hell out”.
We should find a 3rd world country or some island where these people can go and practice whatever nonsense that they want. Forgive them for they know not what they do.
        USN

        1. MEXICO! It’s close by and even the dumbasses that think that they are college-educated would be able to find it if we point them in the right direction!

      2. I know that I’m in the minority in todays culture, but it still stirs my heart to see Old Glory wave in the breeze. I wish we had a flag protection law. Since we don’t, If I am confronted with someone burning or mistreating my flag, I will use my freedom of expression to dust off my shoes on their head.

        1. I don’t believe you’re (we) in the minority, the lame-stream media just wants us to think that in hopes we’ll remain silent. The silent majority just needs to be more vocal. They don’t even get what a total hypocracy it is to come here for the freedom to dis us. If they really felt that way they wouldn’t have come here in the first place.

    7. I haven’t donated money to any college or university for years. They all have become training grounds for Socialist and Anti-American Radicals.
