    1. I purchased a new S&W .45 Shield recently and I experienced cycling feed issues immediately with factory Hornady 230 grain loads and with my 185 gr. SWC loads that I have been using without any feeding problems for 20 + years of practical shooting matches. I completely cleaned the weapon and I continued to have reading problems. I own a S&W .40 Shield and I have never had feeding problems in the 4 years of use.
