If you think back to when all the Mcky Ds workers wanted 15 dollars an hour. The Demorats got the word out to south America to come here to fill all those crappy jobs, and let them know they would get free housing, welfare, food stamps, free medical, and live in a sanctuary city. Now for all those fools who though they would get 15 dollars an hour, that pipe dream is over. With illegals willing to work for much less thanks to the demorats, you will not see 15 dollars an hour minimum wage for at least 20 years.… Read more »

Maybe when they start getting orders correct, they can ask for higher pay.

Amen to that. I went to one where the dummy operating the drive through order didn’t know there were two lines. He kept taking orders from one line and not the other. I sat for a bit then had to walk around to tell him there were two lines except he wasn’t at the window so I had to walk up to the pickup window and ask somoene WTF the problem was? I have never been back to that McDonalds.

@Duglas Lidgett – The problem is they DON’T WANT TO WORK! If you give them $15 an hour then they will want healthcare, then payed vacation and on and on. If you want to make a career out of flipping burgers that’s your choice, no one is forcing you. Want something better, got out and work for it. Don’t like it, TOO BAD!!!

Looks to me like GFYG is showing his flag – the hammer and sickle special. Musta got it on sale back in 1991 when the Soviet Union went belly up. Imagine that – they were the ones who swore by Marx’s stupidity and the people finally revolted against it. Why – because they couldn’t eat and their economy sucked wind. And so it has gone with every society that embraced Socialism. To the ones here in the US that would like to see that come into play here – you’re barking up the wrong tree. We who love this country… Read more »

@Gil – You’ve got it wrong. International ‘mega’ corporations want all politicians everywhere to ‘Europeanize’ the workforce, as in “You’re a Peon”. That’s what ‘Globalism’ is all about!

@Janek, And that is what open borders is all about, too! Carnegy was famous for importing populations of low wage accepting Europeans rather than employing Americans in his steel mills. First Hungarians, then Italians. He was a globalist. His imported people are todays robotic labor, software, and programers.
