It replaces our popular R1 Lawman, taking this predecessor to the next level by equipping its versatile beam with SureFire’s proprietary IntelliBeam Technology, an intelligent microprocessor-based system that continuously evaluates the environment, to seamlessly adjust light output and deliver just the right amount of light for the task at hand.

Wonder if this one will have a spare li-ion battery that one can purchase if he so choses to. Also, will using 123a batteries bring down the lumen output to 500 like it did with the Lawman

Jim Macklin

I want one [ or three] but for $400 less I’ll just have to make do with a MagLight ML50LX with 611 lumen down to about 10 lumens.3 C cellBut I’m expecting [hoping] to win both the Powerball and Megamillion this weekend [ odds only 87,000 trillion to 1 ]
If I do win maybe I’ll but every LEO and USAF Airnan, each Marine and each soldier based or from Kansazs a nice light.

Now that’s a very bright idea!
