Game & Fish Magazine Partners with Chad Belding and Ish Monroe

Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks LogoDENVER, Colo. -( Game & Fish Magazine enlisted Outdoor Channel’s Chad Belding and Major League Fishing’s (MLF) Ish Monroe to help create the magazine’s 2017 Gear Issue.

Belding, host of “Fowl Life TV,” met with the Game & Fish crew in eastern Colorado earlier this year to photograph and test the latest gear for the duck-hunting section of the issue.

“The gear Chad uses — Benelli’s new Super Black Eagle 3 and Federal Premium’s Black Cloud — proved effective and reliable during hunts for ducks and geese,” Game & Fish Magazine’s Associate Publisher and Gear Editor, John Geiger said. “Chad is part of the Banded Brands, which has designed and built waders that have created quite the talk in the waterfowl hunting industry over the last four years.”

Belding said he was glad to partner with Game & Fish because the magazine has a broad national reach and a loyal following of waterfowlers.

“It was great working with the Game & Fish crew,” Belding said. “They know what waterfowlers want, and we are glad to spread the word about the Banded Brands and show them the latest and best gear.”

Game & Fish reaches 6.4 million readers with each issue, according to independent research by MRI.

On the other side of the country, an editorial team met up in Florida with Ish Monroe, Elite and MLF Cup angler, to test gear and capture photographs for the issue’s bass-fishing section.

The annual Gear Issue covers the latest hunting and fish equipment, organized by the most popular species in 28 geographic regions. Hunters and anglers can enjoy equipment reviews and tactical advice that are relevant to the places where they live and hunt.
