They are use to having someone give them what ever they want without fail just because they can run with a football or tackle someone on a regular basis. They have gotten too much for to long and now the world needs to turn in their direction. The flag they are disrespecting has provided them with all this and more. I have refused to watch any games since they decided to be totally stupid. Good thing that pepperdink can’t get a job. Hope he stays unemployed.

Find something beneficial to do like spending time with your kids or grandchildren. Much better than watching a bunch of crybaby millionaires and their billionaire bosses. Maybe even some charity work during that time. You can accomplish a lot in a few short hours.

@All … Ladies and Gentlemen… There is another entity who richly deserves the same attention or lack of it . That would be the Main Stream News Media ! Why would anyone sit back and knowingly be lied to day after day ? Why would anyone continue to subscribe to their misinformation ? Hollywood is another, Why are they allowed to portray all the violence and gore so romantically ? The misinformation about suppressors and how quiet or not that they are . Do a little soul searching and ask yourself why would you support this garbage ?

Totally agree with you. Anyone who believes the lame stream media are either ignorant or have their heads stuck in a place where the sun doesn’t shine

An open letter to the NFL players, You graduated high school in 2011. Your teenage years were a struggle. You grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Your mother was the leader of the family and worked tirelessly to keep a roof over your head and food on your plate. Academics were a struggle for you and your grades were mediocre at best. The only thing that made you stand out is you weighed 225 lbs and could run 40 yards in 4.2 seconds while carrying a football. Your best friend was just like you, except he didn’t… Read more »

We support the Second Amendment. When are we going to support the First Amendment too? If I would “take a knee” at the National Anthem, it would have nothing to do with patriotism, because I still love the Constitution and what it stands for (minus its few flaws, such as allowing slavery in the past). As my dad used to say in the early 1970s, “I love my country, but I fear my government.” I might take a knee, for example, if I thought the government was disrespecting the Second Amendment or any other basic right Americans should have, such… Read more »

Daniel……I don’t understand anything you stated here except you seem sympathetic to a bunch of thugs, rapists, women beaters, child abusers, murderers, and parolees and future parolees.

Daniel. This has nothing to do with free speech. This has to do WHEN and how they are doing it. I don’t care what their political views are because I tuned in to watch a FOOTBALL GAME. If I wanted to watch POLITICS, I would have tuned into a political channel. They have the right to free speech, but NOT when WORKING and in UNIFORM and on MY TIME, not theirs. The COMPANY that employs them has the power to stop this stupidity. I have the power to turn off the TV, not go to games and not purchase products… Read more »

@ Daniel. You are just plain blind and wrong. Evidently you have listened to Rachel Maddow and Don Lemon a lot. You can take a knee if you like, but you best not do it in front of this combat disabled Vietnam vet. I don’t have any police record now. How much time do you get for assault anyhow?

I still will not kiss and make-up with NFL . They have shown how they really feel, got their hands slapped . Got their eyes opened just a little bit.
