USA -(Ammoland.com)- NovX is now shipping their recently announced 9mm rounds, introduced just weeks ago by the industry’s top media outlets. Effective immediately consumers can experience the most effective combination of bullet technology that the media has been clamoring about.

Welcome to the new world of ammunition where NovX changes the way we think. This world-changing ammo combines a stainless steel case and copper polymer bullet, creating the first 9mm Luger +P and standard pressure Engagement: Extreme Self-Defense cartridges.

At 1,710 FPS there is no +P copper poly bullet that is faster. At 65gr there is none lighter. The bullet flies flatter than lead, offers less felt recoil, and creates absolutely devastating wound channels.

NovX Ammo brought together the most dynamic, emerging technologies in the ammunition industry: the Polycase poly/copper matrix projectiles (ARX/RNP) and cutting-edge SST Stainless Steel/NAS3 shell casings. Together they create a new class of ammunition.

Polycase has been the undisputed leader in leading edge projectile design and manufacturing with their poly/copper matrix projectiles. The NovX 9mm Luger +P and standard pressure ARX and RNP standard and +P projectiles set a new standard of performance in self-defense and cross trainer/competition rounds.

Developed using industry accepted performance standards, poly/copper bullets are lighter, more accurate, generate lower recoil and shoot flatter than conventional ammunition with comparable loads. The patented ARX fluted projectile is unmatched; creating wound channels unlike any 9mm self-defense cartridge has ever made before.

Polycase poly/copper projectiles were chosen by NovX to pair with SST NAS3 Stainless Steel shell casings. The NAS3 shell casing is superior to brass and delivers consistency of strength, weight, dimension and alignment. The benefits result in previously unheard-of power, efficiency, velocity, accuracy, weight, lubricity, and cycle rates. Bore fouling is reduced and reloads are increased.

In his February, 2017 article “Is Brass Dead” in Shooting Sports USA, author and expert Art Merrill described the SST NAS3 stainless steel cartridge as “…may be the most significant advance in cartridge case technology since brass replaced the paper cartridge around 1870.”

NovX Ammo and these combined technologies aren’t just leading edge – they are the edge. The end result are the new NovX 9mm Luger ARX, +P ARX, and NovX 9mm Luger RNP and +P RNP cartridges. The exclusive combination of stainless and copper results in the lightweight, extreme power, fast, flat-flying, low recoil, fast cycling, and devastating bullet that has already changed the shooting world.

About NovX:

The NovX brand of ammo has been specifically created by Timberghost Tactical, LLC, a Georgia-based company, and combines stainless steel casings with poly/copper projectiles creating a new class of ammunition that is ballistically superior. Reduced Recoil. Match grade accuracy. Devastating wound channels. Welcome to the new world!

How can I buy this ammo on here?

Johnnie in missouri

I bought these rounds in 45ACP and i shot a buck with it, It was a close shot at 50 feet. aimed for the head, the bullet took the top of the scull off. Very effective. I would like to try them in my 9mm.

Unless attacked by a GOLEM
inanimate clay seldom poses a threat

Jack Hampton

So0 what is the purpose of your comment? Ballistic gelatin is seldom a threat or any other substance used for test. I would like to see what this round does in the FBI test.

santos gonzales

am looking for this ammo in38super or45acp

greg

skeeter skelton loaded a 38 super govt. model with a 90 gr. hp
at over 1600 fps. this was back in the ’70’s.
just reinventing the wheel.

Naturalist

I stick with Reloadable Brass in .41 Mag, .45ACP and 10MM.

American Patriot

I’ll stick with my Gold Dots 124 gr +P for summer & 147 gr for winter months, that’s confidence I can live with! Beside my last buy was $27.99 for boxes of 50 ea.

Richard

Where?

Bill

Question – Will this ammo work in a 9mm Glock?

Scotty Gunn

The round plates never fell over. Enough said.

Jack Hampton

The fact the plate did not fall over really does not matter. The difference is the way it reacts when hitting a human body for self defense reasons. The round creates tremendous lethal and debilitating wounds.

ANTHONY

Exactly. The claim to fame with these rounds are when they hit flesh/liquid. Not a hardened steel plate.

Jeff82

Problem I have is that this ammo depends on temporary stretch cavity for it’s effectiveness. At normal handgun velocities this is not a reliable wound generator. Are these velocities high enough to provide reliable wounding via over stretching tissue? I think not. You need rifle velocities to do that. Clay is very good at showing temp stretch cavities but it is meaningless for handgun cartridges.

Bob Shell

As I write this I am testing the Inceptor bullets in 10, 357 & 45 and so far they are pretty impressive but I have more work to do the brass I have tested extensively & written about it & it has some good and bad features mostly good I hope they bring it out in other calibers

1AbominAble1

Wow, definitely too pricey for me. I understand that money shouldn’t be a factor when it comes to your life but you still have to spend that money hoping to never use that ammo for defense of human life as well as buy enough of it to train with regularly to be extremely proficient with it if that day ever does come. I think I’ll stick to brass so that I can train a LOT MORE for the same cost. The clay results weren’t so tremendous on that video as to make other modern rounds obsolete and if I ever… Read more »

How much is your life worth???

GDubb

Still no data available on FPS changes and deformation characteristics vs. barrel length. This is important info we need to know.

JS

A $1 per round for 9mm? Ouch!

JOHN

How much is your life worth? $1??????????

Phil Elliott

Although I have some Poly ammo I still want to see the results from some street shootings before carrying it for defensive use.

Rock

With all things (materials, cost) considered, I will stick with the brass ammunition. Almost twice the cost for half the ammunition….. I’ll pass.

Jason in Ohio

Midway USA seems to be the first in line for distribution that I see at the moment…. click on their link at the bottom of NOVX’s main website page. I put in my order to test this out on a variety of gear.

Bill Robinson

I like the bullet design, BUT that’s about all. I’ll stick with my Critical Defense load, I should B OK. & MidWay says they R out at the moment. Some body is buying them, RIGHT !
