No Gun Cases Lawsuits Supreme Court
NRA Statement on Denial Maryland Gun Ban Case

Fairfax, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- Fairfax, VA —The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action issued the following statement in response to the U.S. Supreme Court declining to accept a case challenging Maryland’s 2013 ban on commonly owned semi-automatic rifles and standard capacity magazines:

“Maryland’s ban on commonly owned firearms and magazines violates our fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms for self-defense”

“The court’s decision in District of Columbia v. Heller clearly stated that arms in common use for lawful purposes are protected by the Second Amendment and thus cannot be subject to an outright ban. We will continue fighting to ensure that the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding Americans are respected in the courts.”

More of the same from the usual suspects. That being the NRA. I am a Life member, and I am tired of them always trading away my rights. From ex post facto law, and the taking of rights forever for less than a felony, to backing crap like GCA 68, and the Reagan C3 ban of 86 to their pathetic crisis of the week begging for bucks they constantly roll over for the forces of big government and political correctness of the day.

I am also a Life Member of GoA. Guess where my money has gone since the 90’s?

There is a rumor that the reason such cases have been blocked is that the Conservative justices are not sure on how one of the Justices might vote. They want to wait until another Conservative Justices has been put into office by Trump to ensure a pro-gun vote.Rember the story about the Bird, a pile of crap, and a cat.

George Soros and Mikey Bloomberg appreciate everybody who rejects the NRA.

I just prefer a gun rights organization a bit more Freedom and Liberty minded than the capitulation minded NRA,Stand and Fight literally rather than capitulate yet one more time.

I receive tons of mail from the NRA. 90% of it is a constant barrage requesting money and membership renewals. Sure, I’ve donated before, but I don’t see any results from it. They seem to be in court often, but what happens? I’m a member of GOA also, so I’m debating whether to renew with NRA.

After NRA’s latest performance on Slide Fire/bump fire stocks,I asked for a refund. I’ve also always been a GOA member.
With my unused portion from NRA Its going to GOA,the NRA has no idea how little I care about them.
If one would like to write the NRA board below is the contact information.

Good move… I saw a headline for a gun control bill that said it was a “priority” for the NRA. Without the NRA we wouldn’t have the NICS, the Gun Control Act of 1968, etc, etc, etc…
THAT’s why I’m helping form GOA in NY.
