    1. Send all the illegals back where they came from and commiefornia would not need an income tax. They got themselves in to the mess they are in so they can get themselves out of it. If your in a hole, quit digging.

    2. The fact that Trump’s tax plan includes a doubling of the standard deduction to nearly $30,000 is deliberately left out of these discussions. Why? Because the standard deduction would now be more than what nearly all middle income families have in itemized deductions. That means that the middle income taxpayers would pay less tax and have simpler income tax filings, so why all the lamentations from liberal talking heads? Because the ones most hurt by eliminating state income tax deductions are the wealthy, so the wealthy engage in public anguish and crocodile tears over the tragic consequences (which in reality are none) for the middle class.

    3. They can’t cut the rate. Somebody has to pay for all the free stuff. Wonder what they will do when all the working class gets fed up and leave the state. Probably ask for federal help so the rest of us will be expected to pay again.
