STREAK does NOT generate heat, making STREAK rounds safe to use in environments where traditional tracers are prohibited and can be a serious fire hazard.

When will 556 or 223 be Be ailable?
Are they legal in Colorado. my wife is a beginner shooter and we shoot 45s and 9mm. they would be great for her to know were her bullets go. Be great for rifles to. Sighting in rifles at the range before hunting season.
I tried to order, however I see that there is no shipping to California. Are these legal in California?
I could use some of these in 12 ga. Be interesting so see why that bird is still airborne. I would use the pistol rounds to get better on moving targets. I’ll try some when available. If the sell enough,the price should reduce.
I think its worth a box, I have certainly paid more for defensive ammo. Maybe not more for range ammo though. I just ordered a box of 9 and one of 45 to try them out. Might be a hoot!
Get your platinum cards out folks. I went to their website and as soon as I saw that they were marketing a “Jesse James” line of ammunition (the bike builder) I knew this was not only boutique but mega expensive boutique. As for the price, you can’t even buy it yet. They’re hyping the hell out of it, “get in on this”, “be the first to…”, you get the idea.

Cabela’s has them – lots of them – at least they do at our local store. The 147gr 9mm Luger cartridges cost $12.99 per box, which is comparable to name-brand 115gr FMJ loadings. The hollow point 9mm ammo costs significantly more, but hollow points usually do. The .40s cost more than the 9’s, and the .45s cost more as well – so what else is new? This seems like another high value boutique marketing gimmick like zombie rounds and Jesse James ammo. I buy my ammunition in bulk and I *might* pay 1 penny per round extra for a streak round. I *might* even buy one box but thats likely it. But I will buy 1,000’s of rounds from somewhere else until their price comes wayy down…
Interesting product, now available only for a few handgun cartridges. But given that most handgun defensive uses are within 7 yards and most handguns do not have a suppressor, I really wonder how visible the glowing bullet base will be during its short trip from muzzle to target, especially when you factor in the muzzle flash.
No suppressor is needed. Streak has been tested in barrels down to two inches. It will be released in most pistol calibers from 380 to 45 Long Colt and will be available in both hard ball and hollow point.
How about in 5.56/.223? It would be nice to have a glowing round 6 from the bottom to let me know a magazine change is due.
I just pay attention to the holes in the paper or the “ping” of the steel plate. Seems to me the hole/ping is pretty much going to follow the “glow” of the bullet anyway. If they offered these at, oh, say $80-$90 per 1,000 of 9mm I might be interested. For now I’ll just stick with plated or jacketed and buy them on sale from my vendors of choice. I used to cast, still do every now and then, but the shine off those bright newly cast bullet bases was always very distracting.
