The Self Defense Gun Stories You Don't See in the Mainstream News

Louisiana- -( Here is some news you won't find in the mainstream media. Again this week, responsible gun owners defend themselves and the people they love.

Self-defense instructor Jeff Street joins the Self Defense Gun Stories Podcast to look at three new examples. Were these gun owners lucky, or were they trained and prepared?   What can we learn from their experience? Listen and find out. (17 minute podcast)

All three victims survived lethal attacks because they had a gun.

First story-  Are you armed at a convenience store?

You work at as a night clerk. Three young men enter your store shortly before midnight. All of them are wearing masks or bandanas over their face. One of them pulls a gun out of his pocket. He points the gun at you and demands the money from the cash register. You draw your gun and shoot the armed robber with the gun. Then, you aim at the robber nearest you, but he is running from the store with his other accomplice. You step into the back of the store and call police.

The same store was robbed last week. You gave them your money and the robbers left. In contrasts, a clerk in North Carolina was murdered after he gave the robbers the money they demanded.

Second story- Are you armed at a cell phone store?

You work at a cell phone store.  The store is busy since it is early in the evening. A customer dashes up to the counter. You are are in the show area of the store and not behind the counter. Now you notice that the customer is wearing a mask and has a gun pointed at the clerk behind the counter. The robber demands the money from the cash register. The clerk complies and gives the robber the money. You shoot the robber and he falls to the floor. Several of you call police.

Third story- Are you armed when you arrive home?

It is a few hours after midnight. You’re parking your car. As you stop the car in the parking lot, and stranger approaches you. You get out of your car and the stranger draws a gun and tries to rob you. You have your Illinois concealed carry permit. You’re armed. You present your firearm and shoot your attacker once in the chest. You run away and call police.

The media is supposed to be impartial, but these fake news sons of bitches are brownnosing, politically biased slime, not scum from the top, but slime from the bottom of the pond, or should I say SWAMP.

Every day the Self Defense Fund posts a story on its Facebook page of a self defense sitting. Some are clear cut and some are debatable. They use hashtag #sdfprotected.

NO, never draw on a gunman when he has the drop on you, use your brain, take your time and then
draw when you will have better chance of dropping the gunman. Use the element of surprise.

He points the gun at you and demands the money from the cash register. You draw your gun and shoot the armed robber with the gun
