Installation of the “Cornerstone” MKIV 22/45 safety ledge is also a great opportunity to remove the factory ambidextrous safety, which can pinch some users' fingers while shooting.

The Ruger MKIV 22/45 safety ledge offers an ideal thumb placement for a secure grip and provides consistent hand positioning and helps to control muzzle flip. This is one of the best Ruger MKIV 22/45 accessories for competition shooters. Get your “Cornerstone” today and lay the foundation for a better grip!

Please note: The “Cornerstone” installation utilizes a factory spacer included in your original box. This part is referenced on Page 23 of the original Ruger manual. If you cannot located this spacer, please contact TANDEMKROSS or Ruger and we can assist you with locating one.

The “Cornerstone” Safety Ledge enhances the external factory safety without making any modifications to the internal components of the gun. While the ambidextrous factory safety can pinch some users’ fingers, the “Cornerstone” is not ambidextrous, ensuring it does not interfere while shooting.

    1. Great website with good clear photos, prices, what fits which models… plenty for earlier models of the Mark series plus Smiths, Buckmarks and others. Plenty pistol candy!!

      1. Gunwrites – I’d doubt it costs more than $40 (having not done one single second of research into finding out) just based on what the average small VQ and TK Ruger parts seem to run. I guess I’m getting old or something because tarting up yet another AR has no more interest in it. I’d rather spend vastly less coin to build up a little Ruger 22 – and spend a LOT less to feed it than an AR, of course – when you can get an excellent condition used Mk pistol for about the same money as a medium to high end bolt carrier. More little parts like this just make it even more fun.

My question.. I wonder if this would work on the regular, non-22/45 Mk4 or if not, whether they’re thinking about making one for it? I’m hoping to add a 22/45 next year but just have normal Mk4 at the moment.
