The Model 29’s legendary design and historical significance are highlighted perfectly by the full coverage Class A engraving. The full-coverage hand engraving is by the Custom Firearms Engraving Shop under the umbrella of the S&W Performance Center, overseen by Tony Miele. The engraving features rich, complete ornamentation, highlighted with solid gold precious metal inlays. Engraving is by David A. Misiaszek
Classic Altamont bonded ivory custom grips enrich this world-class “One-Of-One” revolver.
Further enhancing the collectability and value of this 2018 SHOT Show Auction offering is a fully carved “Tom Threepersons” field holster from Karla Van Horn of Purdy Gear Leather. The holster evokes the spirit of the old west while still being as timely and modern as S&W’s newest generation of Model 29 revolvers. Karla’s work has received national awards and she is considered by many to be “A National Treasure.”
The high bidder for this one-of-a-kind Smith & Wesson and Karla Van Horn holster will also receive a custom display case provided by Smith & Wesson.
