Repeal Gun Free Death Zones
Help Us Support Safe Students Act (H.R. 34), Calls Needed

USA – -(Ammoland.com)- It’s only been a week since the heartbreaking school shooting in Florida, but anti-gun activists and politicians have already begun yet another campaign to restrict YOUR Second Amendment Rights.

They’ve introduced a bill to supposedly fix the “broken” NICS background system…

… but not only would this bill prevent hundreds of thousands of law-abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights, it also wouldn’t prevent any mass shootings.

These anti-gun activists are currently trying to convince the President that he should support their disastrous gun control efforts.

And sadly, it may be working. The President, who just came out in support of banning bump stocks, is now in talks with the supporters of the anti-gun NICS bill.

This ban on bump stocks is so broad that it will also cover standard capacity magazines and semi-automatics with pistol grips.

Help us stand up for the Second Amendment, call the White House at (202)-456-1111 today and tell President Trump that he should oppose the expansion of federal background checks and oppose the ban on bump stocks.

If that number is busy, then call 202-456-1414.

There is one proposal that would prevent shootings like this in the future.

The Safe Students Act (H.R. 34) would repeal gun-free school zones across the country, allowing security guards, administrators, teachers, and parents to protect their students.

98% of public mass shootings occur in gun-free zones. These killers target locations where guns are not allowed because they feel safe. Precious lives are lost because of the time it takes to stop these killers.

It’s time to eliminate this ineffective ban and put the safety of our nation’s children first.

Gun Owners of America

Call the White House at (202)-456-1111 today and tell President Trump that he should oppose the expansion of federal background checks … oppose the ban on bump stocks and magazines … and throw his support behind the repeal of gun-free school zones instead.

Again, if that number is busy, then call 202-456-1414.

I saw that governor standing up there helling and carrying on about the NRA. Did you notice the armed state cop standing next to him. I sure would give him my guns if he appeared and asked for them, barrel first, of course. The libs are getting more belligerent all the time. One of these days they will snap and blow a tire.

Bottom line is banks are guarded ,airports are guarded why arnt our children guarded with trained armed teachers and law inforcement to back them up when a crazy soft target seeker walks in the door?leave the second ammendment alone ,disarming the United States is the last thing that should never happen .not only will it open the doors to Terrorist as they would know none of us have protection ,it would either cripple our country being the super power we are showing the rest of the world it’s a free for all and we would have more killing than we… Read more »

After 40 years of trying this advertising, gun free zones, isn’t it about time to give it up and try something that may work?
The snowflakes won’t want that done but we know a life means nothing to them. They even say that NO teachers want to be armed. That’s strange because they interviewed a teacher from Utah that got her gun, cc, took classes and she carries in school because she cares for the kids. We sure need less RINOs and commie democrats as our employees.

@Tcat, Yup, Americans need to get back to thinking rather than feeling. But if Americans do get back to thinking, then that will mean the end of the Dumercrat party, and the careers of lots of repubs, too.

I’m all for repeal of the federal GFSZA – but it won’t do anything to make schools safer. Lots of states still have prohibitions of carrying on school grounds, this does nothing to fight that battle.

That’s why its incumbent upon citizens in each state to also pass a similar bill within their territories to ensure those institutions get out of the way and allow students to be safe.

Why not just hang a sign out in front of a school and say “Sheep for slaughter, come on it!’ Same thing just different wording!

I think they not only need to get rid of gun free zones for school but for all places. I have a friend in a nursing facility that has those damned anti gun posters. This facility is on a campus with a small hospital. They have security but if any one wanted to go in there and commit mass murder of nurses and residents they would be in and out before they or the police could get there. What better place to do it. So I think all gun free zone should be done away with . I also think… Read more »

Concealed carry means exactly that. Go in, unless they have metal detectors. I do not pay any attention to any sign.
