U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- Michael Moore is not a fan of President Trump in the least. He has claimed that the President inappropriately colluded with Russians during the 2016 election to anyone that will listen to him. Maybe it is the time that Moore takes a long hard look at himself in the mirror.
According to multiple news reports, Moore is the one that has been concluding with the Russians against President Trump. Back on November 12th, 2016 Moore took part in the “Trump is NOT my President” rally. The rally organizers seemed to have aptly named the rally because it turns out that Trump is not their President. According to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, an indictment that was signed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller alleges that the rally organizers of “Trump is NOT my President” rally were Russian agents with the “strategic goal” to “sow discord in the U.S. political system.” It seems like Moore played right into their hands.
The Russian front group, Black Matters, sponsored the anti-Trump rally. The demonstration took place in Manhattan in front of the Trump Tower. He posted videos, took pictures, and sent out Tweets at the rally. Black Matters does not have any connection to Black Lives Matter. Experts think that the Russians chose the name to create confusion between to the two groups.
Blacktivist was the Facebook page that was run by the Black Matters group. The goal of the page seemed to be stoking the fires of racial discord. The page frequently shared anti-police and anti-Trump propaganda. When it was finally shut down by Facebook when it became apparent it was run by Russian operatives it had more followers than the official Black Lives Matter page.
The indictment names 13 Russian nationals and accused them of meddling in the 2016 election. These Russian nationals also sponsored a pro-Trump rally on the same day in New York. The second rally was not as successful as the anti-Trump hate fest. The Russians seem not to care about backing Democrats or Republicans. Their apparent goal was to turn Americans against each other.
Michael Moore marched with the 25,000 protesters of the “Trump is NOT my President” rally from Union Square to Trump Tower. Moore and the protestors chanted anti-Trump slogans and made accusations that Trump colluded with Russians during the Russian sponsored protest.
“The CIA has determined Russia hacked into our election to help elect Donald J. Trump. ” Moore said on Twitter a month after the Russian sponsored rally, “Now Trump names Putin best friend as OUR Sec of State!”
It isn't clear if Moore knew the Russians sponsored the rally, or if Moore was just Opportunist by attending the rally. What is clear is that Moore has a history of backing the enemies of the US including several dictatorships. He supported the regime in Venezuela where people have been forced to eat zoo animals to survive. Moore, of course, points to capitalism as the problem.
Moore also has pointed to Cuba as a shining example of Socialism. A country where the citizens do not have the protection of free speech, due process, or freedom of religion. The Castro regime in Cuba even used Moore's movie “Sicko” as a propaganda piece against the US. So is it a stretch to believe that more conspired with a foreign power to hurt the US?
Both Facebook general counsel Colin Stretch and Twitter general counsel Sean Edgett confirmed that the Russian was “trying to undermine President Trump’s legitimacy.” A week after the New York rally the organizers staged another rally in Charlotte, North Carolina called ” “Charlotte Against Trump.”
I reached out to Moore via Twitter to get a comment on the rally and his participation. He did not respond to my request for comment at the time of this writing.
