New Jersey – -(Ammoland.com)- The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights, those rights are inalienable which are inherent in you, as an American citizen. The US Constitution exists primarily to establish and provide a limited government, so that those natural rights can be exercised freely by all Americans.

Individuals who wish to dismiss the Founder’s contention that the Second Amendment gives us the right to own firearms for the purpose of repelling tyranny, arguing that average Americans would have little to no chance against a standing army.

But, those who say such foolish things, fail to understand how many average Americans own guns, and in turn the actual size and strength of our silent militia.

Whether or not the newly elected governor of New Jersey agrees with these statements or not is immaterial. By his recent actions, one can easily see that his goal is to make gun ownership in New Jersey as difficult as he possibly can. Knowing this, it is a mystery to me how Phil Murphy was elected in a state with over one million firearms identification (FID) cards, and 850,000 hunters. But regardless of why so many stayed home, I will now do my part by joining with a few other like-minded people, who have chosen to fight back! And, we are asking for your help in making our efforts a success.

Allow me for a second to note that the original militia had been defined to include all able-bodied-men. But, our updated version of today’s new militia will include women, and further be defined as needing only eyes to see, accompanied by an ability to squeeze your index finger (as one might on a trigger), like this!

Our group is called ThinkSafe/GoldHawk and we have come together with a well-respected Martial Art Instructor to create a series of seminars entitled ‘The Art of Safety and Personal Protection for Seniors.’ Our plan is to teach orienting, or awareness of our ever-changing environment, hands-off, grab- release, defensive cane tactic, and of course firearms. Our way of fighting back will be to add one newly trained able-bodied-senior (men or women) to the new militia.

We specialize in training inexperienced seniors or first time gun owners to get as many of the older generation involved, or back to our sport, which is their Constitutional right to legally OWN and enjoy using a firearm, even in the state of New Jersey. As an NRA Instructor, our goal is to have them take the Basic Pistol Shooting course with followup practice sessions and tactical training as they progress through the program.

We are located in Little Egg Harbor, NJ and are primarily looking for senior citizens who live in the Ocean County or southern section of New Jersey. I can already hear a few of you whispering to yourself, thankfully I don’t. But, we can’t all run away, as many of you have previously suggested. Our plan is to stay here and fight back.

If you live in New Jersey or have a friend or relative who does, someone possibly from the older generation that you know, who has always had an interest in guns, but never had the opportunity. This is their opportunity.

Please go yourself and/or ask a friend to look at our website at: http://ts2bs.biz/goldhawk to review what our series of seminars for the safety and personal protection for seniors is all about. They can register online for our Introductory Seminar on Saturday, March 3rd.

And, we thank the Ammoland Community of gun owners for your help.

    1. I live in Central New Jersey, and would love a course like this in our area. In fact, if this spread statewide, perhaps we could change some of this liberal Democratic voting that plagues the state. Hopefully, you will be successful in your first endeavor. I go to the indoor range now, but it’s a very contrived environment. Outdoor ranges are few and far between in New Jersey…. Just bought a second home in Arizona where I can live free…

      1. @Stopdk,

Thanks! And, we join you in ‘hoping we will be successful in our first endeavor.’

When you say Central Joisey? What town do you live in? One of our instructors lives in the Wall, Brielle area, and although he will be working in Little Egg initially, we ‘may’ start another program in his area of northern Monmouth County, if and when, ‘we are successful in our first endeavor….;)

If you’d like, you can use the email address on our website (above article) to get back…

    2. the MAIN reason Japan DIDN’T attack us here in the mainland after they attacked and destroyed Pearl harbor, is because their leaders understood MOST AMERICANS WERE ARMED.
      and that’s a HISTORICAL FACT.
compared to THEN AS TODAY WE ARE MORE ARMED AND THERE ARE MILLIONS MORE OF US.
so if the SHOOTING part of the ongoing REVOLUTION we find ourselves in today were to come, a lot of OUR MILITARY, NATIONAL GUARD AND SOME LAW OFFICERS WOULD JOIN WITH WE THE PEOPLE.
i served in Vietnam two tours as a Combat Marine, and i can tell you about GUERILLA WARFARE BECAUSE I WAS ALSO TRAINED IN THAT AND USED IT.
and MILLIONS OF GUERILLAS CAN REALLY FK UP A STANDING ARMY, which is what would happen HERE, WHEN THE TIME COMES.
and WE DON’T FIGHT LIKE A STANDING ARMY DOES, AND WE DON’T FIGHT FAIR.

    3. we have UNALIENABLE RIGHTS NOT INALIENABLE RIGHTS.
which means they CAN’T BE TAKEN AWAY OR TRANSFERRED BY GOVT OR ANYONE ELSE, WE WERE BORN WITH THEM.
also they CAN’T BE LEGISLATED AWAY by those DISGUSTING POLITICIANS OR JUDICATED AWAY BY THOSE BLACK ROBED PETTY TYRANTS.

    4. I never understand anti gunners who say we could not oppose an Army while only armed with rifles.
The Taliban have not flown a single aircraft, driven any tanks, have no armored vehicles or artillery.
They have held off the entire might of the U. S. for years with little more than small arms and I E D’s
In the coming second American civil war, the patriots will hold off the Armyin the same way

      1. @DDC,

Very valid comments and least we forget that many member of “The Army” will join forces with the Patriots, especially many of the senior officers who were fired by the usurper Osama Obama, and the thousands of active and retired soldiers who were loyal to them.

      2. @Docduracoat, Actually the Taliban did have a few tanks, armored vehicles, mortars, RPGs, IEDs, and fully automatic weapons. As a demonstration of why we could not oppose an army, go out to your back yard and do not come indoors for a week. And then there are issues of logistics, fighting as a team, having leaders, discipline and a plan.

        1. @WB,

Appreciate your comments, and agree with the issues that you raise, at least initially. But, also believe that as with any battlefield, that enough Patriots would come together and evolve into fighting teams, with active or retired military as leaders, as would the discipline and following ‘the plan’. But, having said that, I’m just not sure about that going out in my backyard and not coming back in for a week; besides my wife just called to say my dinner is on the table, sorry gota run …;)

            1. @WB

You know that’s my smilin’ face ^ up there, right?

A friend told us our range was ‘Unusable’ because of the deep snow, and although we also have an indoor range, we love a challenge. So, we brought a shovel and had a ball. ‘Unusable R Us’

Now, ’bout that hangin’ out in my backyard for a week….;(

BTW: my avatar was originally for the Limerick Rugby Club, but the 7th Call works too…;)

        2. @WB,

I’ve got pretty bad tinnitus, which really sucks for a pistol instructor, and just a wee bit of claustrophobia AND also love the great outdoors, so indoor ranges are not my first choice. The one thing I do like about an indoor range is the push buttons target on a cable to run them in/out….;)

BTW: When I say “love the outdoors…” I mean that in small doses, and must be crib by 10:00pm with our king sized bed and down quilt, thank you very much….;)

    5. As a Self Defense/ Martial Arts instructor and older practicing Martial Artist I think this sounds like a great program. In fact I have signed my wife and myself up for it. Personal security is great skill for senior citizens to develop. I highly recommend that every one in the age group should get some kind of training and not be intimidated to take like courses.

        1. @TheHolyCrow, Where do you live. If your in Joisey, we’d love the opty to show you the kata, whilst your arms still work (love it…;)

          1. @Gary….yep, I’ve been a Joisey Shore boy for almost 69 years now. Looking forward to learning the cane kata. Do you think GGT Murphy will make me get a permit to buy my cane ? Will I be able to open carry it ? They might make it illegal like with numchucks ! It might make me walk funny if I have to conceal carry it. A few months ago I saw some YouTube clips of the kata, and I keep my eyes peeled for the type of cane needed for the twirling. So far I haven’t seen one. Do you know any places that carry that type with the large curve ?

    6. This is a very good concept for getting the ‘older generation’ back to the sport of shooting, and it also sounds like they will be offering some tactical training, just in case. Best of luck with it, Fredy…
