USA –-(Ammoland.com)- The Daily News reports in New York City, New York 12-31-2017, a Brooklyn woman shot her ex-boyfriend in the neck Saturday when he tried to kick his way into her apartment, police sources said.
The 30-year-old man, stormed into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment building on Bristol St. near Blake Ave. in Brownsville at 6:13 p.m., cops said.
When the ex-boyfriend kicked open her door, he found the 52-year-old woman standing at the threshold with a handgun, police sources said.
She pulled the trigger and hit her ex once in the neck. Medics rushed him to Brookdale Hospital where he is listed in stable condition
Cops found the woman’s .40 caliber handgun at the scene. She recently moved to the city from North Carolina. While the weapon was legal there, she did not have a New York permit yet, police said
The ex-boyfriend allegedly has an extensive criminal history.
The woman was taken into custody and charges were pending early Sunday, cops said.
New York gun laws! While the male will no doubt be charged as he recovers from his wound, the female victim is already charged!
Anywhere in the civilized world this is clearly justified self-defense.
