USA –-(Ammoland.com)- Where has the time gone? The entire Student of the Gun family is celebrating 5 years of SOTG Radio. March 8, 2018 is the official five year anniversary for the Student of the Gun Radio program.
“We have come so far in the last five years it’s strange looking back to where we were and see where we are now.” said Jarrad Markel, co-host and producer of SOTG Radio. He continued, “When we started out, we only had one microphone and a direct feed to a laptop. Now we have a dedicated studio, professional production equipment and Zachary, the Shipping Orge, is part of the team.”
During the last five years Student of the Gun Radio has grown from humble beginnings as an iTunes only podcast. In addition to iTunes, the show is now available on iHeartRadio, TuneIn, SoundCloud, Stitcher, and most every on demand audio player. SOTG Radio is listened to in over 170 countries and, in December of 2017, the show surpassed 4 million downloads.
“The idea from the very beginning was to use the audio format to speak directly with our audience, on a more personal level.” related Paul Markel, host and founder of Student of the Gun. “With every episode, we have the opportunity to make a personal connection and I believe it is that aspect that has kept people with us for five years now.”
