Never been a 10/22 fan but have many T/Cs so I saw this deal I couldn’t say no. Nets out shipped for $149.52 Brownells had it for $299.99- $40 instant discount code LX4 (had to add a filler to hit $300) + 10 FFL processing charge -$60 Brownells gift card I’ll get – $50 T/C rebate -$10.47 Active Junky rebate = $149.52 Total! How can I beat a deal like that? Hope I like it. I wanted a threaded barrel Semi Auto & like the idea of using Ruger mags, barrels & the peep sight & it’s a T/C which… Read more »

A 10/22 for $200 less, humm?
Well, that would put that 10/22 at right about $40 then. I just ordered a T/CR22 for $289, before a $50 rebate.
So, the T/CR22 is a much upgraded 10/22, for quite a bit less than an equivalent model 10/22.
As far as copies goes…yeah, Ruger has NEVER copied any Kel-tec pistol, have they?

I really like the rifle but they still sell through Dicks Sporting Goods so I will have to purchase something else, sorry Thompson/Center Arms.

wait a few weeks and it is very likely that NO gun maker will work with that tinkerbell store chain again.

I’ve had my Thompson Center Classic 22 since they were introduced. It has the same accuracy as my heavy barreled 10/22. A beautiful classic rifle in every respect. A hundred dollars spread over the rifle lifetime is less than a high end coffee per year. I love the idea of a similar field rifle with a tough composite stock.

Kudos to Rock! He took the words right out of my mouth. I also have a couple of Ruger 10/22 and they did not cost me no $400.00!! All I can say with out getting myself in trouble is good luck if you have a warranty issue. They try to fix it over the phone. Then they will fix it but you get stuck with the S&H both ways! They will not ship it back unless you send them a pre-paid S&H sticker! BUT, they do make good copy cat products and this is one of them. There are others… Read more »

That has not been my experience with S&W/TC. They provide great customer service, well for me they do.

same, lost an action bolt they immediately responded 2 day free shipping and sent me 4 replacements and I love my Compass 308, less than 1/2 moa for $200 post rebate, a rebate they actually sent fairly quickly

Sooo, Thompson Center has now copied Rugers 10/22…. Add them to the Volquartesn, Armscor, RIA, Magnum Research, AMT and others list. You can get the original Ruger for almost two hundred less than the T/C knockoff… Ironic how many manufacturers copy the 10/22 Ruger and say it’s their “new design” or “rimfire defined” and give it their own name and brand. BUT, in the same breath or ad they state that most 10/22 accessories/ parts are compatible… IT’S A RUGER DESIGN, the same 10/22 in a different wrapper……. PERIOD ! Design your own .22 from the ground up. They say… Read more »
