I remember visiting chicken farm to purchase some poultry and selecting a particularly feisty rooster. The rooster was not about to be caught so grandfather picked up a 22 caliber rifle and shot him in the head.The e rooster took off running behind the barn….Ha, declared the farmer you missed him. Confidently grandfather told him to just gather up the rooster and we’ll take him. Indeed, he had been shot cleanly through the head.
