Trailblazer Firearms Surpasses 6,000 LifeCards and Adds New Distributors

The pocket-sized, folding .22LR has sold beyond expectations. In order to accommodate the demand, new firearm distributors have been signed on.

Asheville, N.C. ( Trailblazer Firearms, makers of the smallest folding .22LR pistol, are proud to announce that production of the credit card sized pistol has exceed 6,000 units to date. Trailblazer Firearms has scaled up production to meet demand and increased the number of firearms distributors the LifeCard® can be sold through across the country.

“We reached our first year’s sales goals and then some,” Aaron Voigt, founder and president of Trailblazer Firearms, said. “What started out as my obsession to come up with an Altoid tin sized pistol has taken on a life of its own. Ellett Brothers and Jerry’s Sport Center were the premier distributors for the LifeCard during its launch period. Now, firearms dealers can order the single-shot, folding .22LR from Bill Hicks, Zanders Sporting Goods, Amchar Wholesale, Ron Shirk Shooters Supplies, Williams Shooters Supply, MGE, Orion Arms Corp., Lew Horton Distribution Co. and Chattanooga Shooting Supplies.

Trailblazer Firearms is currently working on expanding the LifeCard accessory line for debut at the 2019 SHOT Show.

The credit card sized LifeCard weighs less than seven ounces and is only a half of an inch thin. It features a super sleek, no-snag design and easily fits in the “5th” pocket of a pair of jeans.  The ambidextrous pistol, with built-in safety features, opens quickly and easily, offering a full-size handle for a comfortable and controllable grip. The LifeCard’s barrel, bolt and trigger are manufactured from 4140 pre-hardened steel. The frame and handle are made from 100 percent machined aluminum billet. The finish is a corrosion resistant Isonite® on the steel parts and a hard-coat, anodized aluminum on the frame and handle. The Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard .22LR is available at retailers across the country with an MSRP of $399.00.

Having seen and handled this ingenious weapon at my local gun shop, I am amazed at the creativity of the designer(s). However, the MSRP of $399.95 is about double what I would say is a reasonable retail price…

I agree on the MSRP. Also on the retail needing to be in the $200 or less range. It remains to be seen if the “early adopters” will set the preic or if those like us who “wait and see” will force the price down to a reasonable and acceptable level. A $400 single shot weapon is relegated to a backup role in my book. It is, however better than nothing,
