    1. @ The Revelators Husband

Hmmm, How funny you did not answer the question yet again. So I will make a few observations considering that you were accurately able to describe yourself forthwith as an “Assclown”.

I find it absolutely hilarious that a transvestite with no balls, an IQ less than 30, and no personal integrity whatsoever thinks that he/she is trolling me. First you went from female to male so fast it’s hilarious, which completely justifies the transvestite designation. The lack of male genitalia and subsequent levels of testosterone which help produce courage and accountability further explains why you are doing everything you can to avoid answering the question. Third, if you were indeed “Trolling” then your original target was Gene. However you did this only after 2 months on a dead article under a name you change frequently. Of course though, if you did keep a solid handle, you would never be able to post like this due to the aforementioned cowardice. Knowing that anyone here on Ammoland could in fact call into question your actions or point to your stupidity on a regular basis would cause you to melt like a university snowflake(Made out of non fat soy based vegetable proteins of course) hearing that the first amendment protects every US citizen.

Now with your limited IQ, and also perhaps a lack of attention span, I highly doubt you will be able to read everything I wrote much less understand it. So I will condense it down for you into a single question, the second of which I have asked considering your inability to answer the first. Twice I asked you a question to which you ignored or attempted to explain in such a way so you would not have to answer it. Twice I forced you to respond to my comments, and furthermore got you to admit to Ammoland and everyone here that you are by your own words an “Assclown”.

Who’s trolling who? That is what I ask as I sit here smiling to myself, waiting for you to reply again having once more been goaded into it, or perhaps looking down at where a pair of testicles once resided but have long since departed, maybe you will decide to slink away to a new name change with that castrated tail between your legs.

        1. Awww, Yet more proof of that below 30 IQ. I guess I didn’t dumb the comment down enough. Too bad I already figured you would pull the run away tactic. Funny how cowards always try the “Not worth my time” excuse.

Wait… A Transvestite with no intelligence, honesty, or courage… Seemingly obsessed with Homosexuality, and ignores or tries to dismiss questions. I KNOW WHO YOU ARE NOW!!

Thanks for responding yet again Mrs. Clinton. Hope that Cankle cream is helping your condition.

        2. While Expected, was surprised he went to the not worth my time routine that fast. has to be a new world record for it. Poor baby probably had a tendril of urine running down his leg as he sat there writing that before hiding under the covers. LOL

          Practically Guarantee he replies again.

          1. Didn’t have a better response than that huh? Funny, that’s usually what happens when a person who gets called out for having their head up their sphincter realizes everyone is going to realize the truth behind it, so they instantly head to the slur zone in hopes it will shut the person up that they view as a threat to them.

Now, would you like to answer my question from before as to why you are trying to pick a fight with someone who posted back in JULY, who myself and others pointed out commented without thinking in July when he did. As it stands right now you have zero credibility here, and avoiding the question doesn’t do you any favors.

            1. Boy I’m just sitting on the edge of my seat with anticipation to see if “Gene’s Mom” can respond to my question within a reasonable amount of time, say perhaps October 10th.

However, if the pattern holds it looks like getting anything before November 29th will be a long shot.

            2. Dude you’re a tool, I am trolling you and you just can’t help yourself but respond to my assclown comments. lmao

    2. Its a decent deal. Not the greatest, The discount only applies to ONE, doesn’t not apply to multiples of that item. I just ordered two. First one was discounted, second one was at the regular Brownells price.

    3. As far as .308 is concerned, I don’t think this would be compatible with AR10. DPMS yes since they just used a standard AR15 reciever extension and cut down tbe buffer, but AR10’s use a longer buffer tube and a heavier 5oz buffer.
Guess I’ll shoot an email to the company and see about Armalite adaptability.

    4. “If you are into AR15 pistols this is a must-have item”
Explain to me why putting this onto a pistol doesn’t get you in trouble with ATF for making a SBR. Sounds like a bad idea.

          1. Dave,

The folding mechanism does not include a stock, buffer, or buffer tube. To assemble your AR with it, you would install the folding adapter to your receiver, screw in your buffer tube of choice (in this case pistol length), and finish assembly. Since you are the one mounting the rearward components, it would be up to you to follow the law. The adapter wont turn your pistol AR into an SBR unless you physically put a rifle buffer and stock on it. Hope this helps clarify your question on the issue.

P.S.~I have been offline for several months now, so hello again to my friends here.

            1. Revelator,

Thanks for that explanation, as well as the courtesy. That was the point behind the initial question. It looked to me, from the article, that the entire rearward assembly, starting at the hinge, was what was being provided. I didn’t think that a hinge alone would cost $220.

            2. @Dave in Fairfax

Not a problem at all. I try to give courtesy to everyone until they show they do not deserve it.

I think Gunwrites misunderstood your question is all, and Gene did not handle his opinion well.

As for the cost, the adapter is machined out of 4140 steel which is quite harder to work with than the Aluminum that our AR’s are made out of. It also has multiple internal moving parts which have to be inlet for, with tolerances that have to be kept tight to insure proper lockup with repeated use. If you consider the cost of a US machine shop made compensator or brake, I think the price is fairly accurate when you account for the extra machining and parts fitting required to make one of the adapters. It is a purpose driven/Mission specific accessory and a useful one at that, just not one that everyone will want to pay for based on their own personal needs.

              Best Wishes to you.

            3. @Wild Bill

Thanks. Good to see you haven’t drawn Aces and Eights yet my friend. Hope all is well on the home front.
