When are you going to make a mag that will work with the 6.5 creedmore , the mags for the american series work fine with 308 based cartridges but the creedmore is a two shooter at best . Better yet , sell the new style stocks that take acis mags , to us loyal customers that bought our rifles too soon .I truly am impressed with the performance of this rifle / cartridge combo . looking to make a few design changes and make a ruger into a model -57 (.41 magnum),have 10 older super redhawks. but I hate to mess them up. with a cylinder and barrel change and above all else the best trigger to work on in the west.absolutley will not modify any of my bisley vaquero’s ,they tend to shoot a bit low but all bullet holes touch .on second thought I found a s&w model 57 in the bottom of my gun safe ,its 30 yrs old but was only fired 8 times during deer season ,think it took a… Read more »

out of all the rifles I have and shoot my ruger no.1 rifles are the most accurate I have except for a couple of really heavy cooper rifles I acquired 37 yrs ago. my m-77’s are still great shooters but not in .22 or .17 wsm at least not yet.guess im gonna visit several gun shops and maybe a few online also.theres an older .22 hornet model 77 ruger for sale at the flea mkt if barrel is ok ill take it home.

It has been my experience as a shooter for 20 years. .have owned many different guns polymer guns are garbage. Pistols jam .best bet Ruger SP101 or any Ruger revolvers. No jams no plastic crap .although I prefer old S&W REVOLVERS can’t beat them own 7 %100 dependable
With the # of crazies and Zombies out there these days, IMHO the day of only 5 shots is about over. Sadly bks I like carrying a .357 SP101 too.

When are we ever going to get a true gas-operated 10mm carbine? The 40’s are okay but they’re all blowbacks. The 10mm in a carbine would FLY off the shelves if done right. Pullease?
I have the SR1911 in 10mm and I’d love to have a 10mm carbine to go with it. Maybe something like the 44mag carbine Ruger made briefly back in the 70’s. That would be a great combination to have and I think it would be popular considering the resurgent popularity of the 10mm.
Mini 14 in 10mm would be great too. Maybe with 16 inch barrel.

Out of Pistol Carbine a 10MM round, (yes it would cost more for ammo) with a 16″ to 20″ barrel using Liberty Ammo 60grn @2400fps or Underwood Ammo 155grn or lighter wgt. @1500fps+ from a 5in. barrel would put that round in the neighborhood of the 556.

Try a Hi-Point. They just introduced a 10mm version. They have had the 9mm and I have one in .45 acp…bought it just for carrying in my truck…bought some 14 rd mags made by Mec-Gar. Works like a champ. Cheap Red Dot site, held a 5″ group multiple times at 100 yards – with my own loads!I imagine their 10mm is probably the same in terms of weight (kinda stout) and it does take some getting used to. Hi-Point makes a pretty good 10mm carbine, I have it and the 9mm, both are great little shooters and believe it or not they are also very reliable ! I haven’t had any problems at all and they were not very expensive either. They are great fun !!!!
KS I have a 995TS too. It is very reliable with 10 round mags. I found that if you clip 2 mags to the stock they spit rounds when you shoot. Also the sights are too low (or the stock is too high). In the end I bought a Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm. Now that’s a great carbine for the price!

I also think that would be a great idea .22 cal LCP , I have one in .380acp now and it is a great little gun, not the best for accuracy ,but I didn’t buy it for that anyway ! I have a Beretta .22 cal with flip barrel in all steel. no poly at all, that is a great little shooter and it is about the same size as my LCP so I think it would be a fantastic idea. Please build one Ruger, I know I would buy one, at least.

I bought the security 9 shortly after it came out, had I known it would come out with a laser light, I would have waited. Is there a laser light that can be attached to the ones without it??
There is no shame in owning two Security 9’s, and you would still only be around the same price of one Glock.

Ruger is making a mistake in making its ‘Officer Style’ SR1911 with a stainless steel frame. Whatever benefit the heavier frame might seem to provide in assisting in controlling recoil (negligible) is offset by carry comfort. One is more apt to be carrying it much more than shooting it.
O.K. Ruger…. WHERE is the .22 American rifle in *stainless steel* heavy barreled target configuration ? THAT is what people are waiting for. You make a standard blued steel target rimfire, WHERE’S THE STAINLESS ?????
I have a brand new stainless steel 10/22 with scope. I have had it for years and never been fired.
Whats the point of owning a mass produced weapon you never fire? Like buying a Toyota Corolla and parking it and not driving it. What are you saving it for???? Not criticizing just curious as to mindset.
