Self Defense Stories In Your Home & In Your Car

Women Shooter Self Defense Gun
The Self Defense Stories You Don’t See in the Mainstream News

Louisiana –-( Here is some news you won’t find in the mainstream media. Again this week, responsible gun owners defend themselves and the people they love.

Self-defense instructor Jeff Street joins the Self Defense Gun Stories Podcast to look at three new examples. Were these gun owners lucky, or were they trained and prepared?  What can we learn from their experience? Listen and find out. (13-minute audio)

All three victims survived lethal attacks because they had a gun.

First story –  Are you armed at home at night?

It is after dark. You hear your wife scream from outside your house. You walk to the windows and see two armed men holding your wife and pushing her towards the front door. You grab your handgun and step outside. The robbers shoot at you. You shoot them. Now they run.

One of the suspects was arrested at the hospital. Both you and your wife are uninjured, but badly shaken.

Second Story –  Are you armed as you drive your car?

You are driving for a ride share company. It is almost midnight when you pick up two customers. Before you start to drive, the two passengers start punching you and reaching for the car keys. You have your concealed carry permit. You’re armed this night.  You lean away from them and draw your firearm. They run from your car.

Third story – Are you armed when you arrive home in the morning?

You dropped your two children off at school. You return home and notice a strange smell. You hear someone in your bedroom. You open your bedroom closet and a man reaches out to grab you. You have your concealed carry permit. You are armed. You draw your gun and shoot your attacker. You run out of the house and call police.

Police identify your dead attacker as the stalker who’d threatened you at work. Now, he’s broken into your home.

What would you do in these situations?

as a ole Marine i always shoot to KILL, and i will always keep that MIND SET
and will do so if the need came about.

: As it should be! Center mass! Don’t you prefer to just maim them by shooting the perp(s) in the arm, leg or shoulder? That’s the way a female cop on the state approval board put it… we laughed because stupid people tell others that’s what we and LE should strive to do.
They’re the lucky ones if getting shot is not fatal. Having our weapons ready is preparedness as opposed to being naive.

The question is: what would you do in these situations? My answer is to shoot to end the problem not to just disable the scumbag. He might come back and sue you.
