Brian: They very clearly state in their instructions not to get any cleaning solvents on them. When I clean my guns I use Mobil 1 then spray the entire gun with brake parts cleaner to wash it clean and dry before the final lube. Iām happy it works for you but Iām not about to worry about not getting solvent on one part or the other. To each his own.
If you happen to get ANY cleaning solvent on it itās trashed. Itās pretty much just stick on sandpaper for $30. In my opinion Iād spend my money elsewhere but thatās just me.
Oh BS!! Mine have been installed since a week after I first heard about them in the Talon Grips newsletter. I have Talon grips on about 15 guns for a few years now and have never had a problem with either or any of my grips coming up/off. The only problem I have with ArachniGRIPs is that they don’ t have the grip currently available for my XDe. My XD’s and XDM are all good.
