USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Tennessee's resident ‘Hick Ross' joins forces with Nashville-based firm KORE Public Relations.

Big Smo, a self-made titan of industry and an originator of country-rap, continues to defy industry standards and expectations, even after 7 full-length album releases, including We The People (2016) and Special Reserve (2018). Despite the looming controversy surrounding the marriage of country and hip-hop, Smo has managed to reach common ground within a contradiction, solidifying his heavy-weight champion status for lovers of Jerry Reed to die-hard fans of Run DMC. Big Smo is living proof of success born from adversity, and while he has over a decade of industry experience under his belt, Smo continues to grow alongside music's imminent evolution.

“With every decision, you make in the present moment, you've got to keep 6 months from now at the front of your mind, too. If you don't, you'll miss out”, Smo says of his own approach to maintaining an illustrious, sustainable career as an artist. “That's the only way to keep up with this industry these days.”

KORE PR owner Dawn DeJongh found a kindred spirit in Big Smo's forward thinking—a connection that sparked their current partnership.

“Big Smo is a real artist,” DeJongh asserts, “and having him on our client roster serves as a reminder about why we do what we do. Smo puts in the work and the payoff is so obvious. I cannot wait for us to collaborate and reach even higher heights together!”

That crap isn’t Country, it’s garbage trying to pass for music.

Meh…I lost interest in new country around 2010, the last concert I went to was Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Soul2Soul tour.
Keeping things edgy is supposedly what sells albums/tracks and concert tickets, but I can’t listen to it, much less pay for it. I find myself listening to ‘classic’ or ’80’s’ and ’90’s’ , even ‘Rockabilly’ country channels on Pandora nowadays, I don’t have a single country station in my radio presets anymore.
