Yorba Linda, CA – -(AmmoLand.com)- The National Rifle League, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting sports through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, announced that the 2018 NRL Championship will be hosted by Precision Rifle Shooters of Idaho (PRSID) in Vale, Oregon.

The 2018 NRL Championship, presented by Nikon Sports Optics, will be held on October 20-21st at Snake River Sportsman Range.

This is the final 2-day, national-level match of the NRL’s 2nd Season, and will consist of the Season’s Top Competitors, Ladies, Young Guns, and invites from the 2018 NRL Board of Directors.

“The National Rifle League is proud to have the 2018 season capped off by Co Match Directors Nate Lauerman and Jack Wilson. These fine men were selected to host our Championship event not only because they produce the most top-quality events, but also because they hosted our inaugural shoot in 2017,” Tyler Frehner, Director of Match Operations, NRL. “So many aspects of what the NRL community grew to be was because of the tone they set on our first match. Bringing the community together both on the range and off was the brainchild of these gentlemen and lives on to this day. Selfishly, I am excited to have qualified for this event as a shooter and am ready to see where I stack up amongst the nation’s elite.”

“NRL is excited to have the opportunity to bring professional-level events to shooters across the nation. Our Championship is a culmination of a season’s hard work from everyone involved to find out who the best precision rifle competitor in the nation is,” Travis Ishida, President, NRL. “This match is going to be epic!”
