California has the world biggest supply of water on their west border. They do not want to process the water because the state is run by morons. They brought in goats to eat the burnable vegetation on the hills of Malibu but the residents (Hollywood actors) complained about the animals. Was it because they were not pink and wore tutus? Now the place burns up or washes away when it rains. Can you say flood control? The problems in California are caused by people like gov. moonbeam, Hollywood nut cakes and other liberal idiots that allow “piss poor planning” e.g.… Read more »

This was NOT a “Forest Fire”. There is much more going on in CA. Arial photographs show homes that look like a bomb went of from the inside while all around the area are trees are STILL STANDING UNTOUCHED! Did the trees forget it was a “forest fire” or was there something else happening. Some researchers are saying it had to do with “Smart meters” being triggered. This set of fires has nothing to do with liberals preventing controlled burns, although in a regular forest fire this is the preferred tactic. Below are a few links proving something else is… Read more »

What needs to happen is,the people that got burnt out need to file lawsuits against all the tree hugger organizations that had anything to do with getting logging and forests management knocked out in court. There should be records to show who won what.Everyone do it one at a time,no class action.

The cartoon got it right and it further proves that the leftist can’t run anything except into the ground. Commiefornia is the biggest mess man could ever make and it is all because of leftist policies and actions. Moonbeam is over capacity with what he has been doing and this new guy is as bad or worse as I understand.

The Left Wing has locked the logging companies out of the forests -t hey (the logging companies) use to have to cleanup up the under brush – both as part of the contract and to protect future logging for themselves … The Left Wing did not spend the money necessary to clean out the under brush (the fuel for the fires), so yes, the Left Wing got what they ask for “natural fires” … they, the Left Wing”, left the under brush because it was “natural” and because it saved money short term …. Now they are getting “Natural Fires”… Read more »

To be fair this is a long term issue and yes the liberals cant decide what to do to fix it. Almost all of California has been logged at one point or another over the last 150 years, a few stands were left untouched. Originally our Forest Service/Land Management bureaucracies were managed by loggers who were looking to maximize yields. They replanted faster growing trees and they planted them closer than is really sustainable. It worked as long as you kept logging. Enter the liberals who say leave it natural (it hasnt been natural for over a hundred years mind… Read more »

California has implemented the most draconian control via water sequestration in the US. Let’s face it, they refuse to bring water inventories online for yard uses, and they refuse to build new infrastructure to withhold water for “Future Generations.” However that’s not the worse Environmental Controls they are implementing. In the West Coastal States and others, they have made it so cost prohibitive to bring on new cheap energy sources, that it forces the companies like PG&E to favor solar and wind. The result is obvious, energy distributors can’t afford to fix or replace delivery infrastructure. In fact, PG&E favors… Read more »

What policy’s are you even talking about? Please site what these “Leftist Policy” are? Are you talking about doing preventive back burns in the months leading up to fire season? Encouraging home owners to remove scrub brush from there land and giving incentives to builders to build more fire resistant homes. Giving grants to replace roofs with metal that wont burn? What polices are so bad? Or is this just some line that is spewed forth to place blame on one group with nothing to back it up?

@tomcat 14, The policy, that most liberals that are not educated in forest management, is to leave everything untouched by man and therefore natural. I bought a house in so cal from just such a libtard once. You should have seen the result of their “leave everything natural” beliefs. There were 37 trees in the back yard in every stage of growth, with only a path between them. I could have had a forest fire in my own back yard. Leftists, and the so. cal. variety in particular, do not understand that nice things only come from human planning, funding… Read more »

Sorry but the idiots in CA that want to live a certain way, that way causes a greater possibility of wild fire, so to put it simple KARMA’S A BITCH!

Even the U.S. Forest Service finally realized that wildfire is a natural process and often tries to let fires burn, does controlled burns or allows the forests to be “thinned” of fuels (now euphemistically called “restoration”). California is reaping their own sowing of their mismanagement of their resources and citizens’ rights. It’s hard to feel sorry for them when the citizens elected the officials and accepted any and all liberal lunacy foisted upon them. When your ship is sinking fix it, take to the lifeboats or abandon ship, but when you reach safety, don’t repeat the same mistakes that sank… Read more »
