GRINNELL, Iowa –-(Ammoland.com)- Brownells recognizes the generous donations from its customers and industry partners that helped give $81,000 to veterans charities during #Operation100K.
Throughout the month of November, 6,654 Brownells customers donated over $33,000 to the cause.

The generosity of Brownells customers and corporate partners means three veterans’ charities – Special Operation Wounded Warriors, Folds of Honor and Mission 22 – will each receive a check for $27,000.
The amount raised by both customers and corporate partners added up to $40,500, which Brownells matched for a total of $81,000.
“We’d like to say ‘Thank you’ to all our customers, as well as the other companies who donated to #Operation100K,” said Brownells Director of Content and Communications Ryan Repp. “It’s awesome to see the 2A community come together to support veterans.”
The charities benefitting from #Operation100K include:
Special Operations Wounded Warriors provides outdoor experiences, retreats, and assistance with therapies for Purple Heart recipients of the United States Special Operations Forces.
Folds of Honor provides scholarships and educational assistance to the families of veterans killed or disabled in action.
Mission 22 is dedicated to raising awareness and enlisting support to eliminate veteran suicides.

Mission 22 is a non-profit who combats the ever-rising veteran suicide rate. Every day, more than twenty veterans are lost to suicide. Mission 22 wants to bring that number to zero. It does this with three main programs; veteran treatment programs, memorials and national awareness. Mission 22 provides treatment programs to veterans for Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury and other issues they might be facing.
