Using the newest material technology and manufacturing, MFT’s Extreme Duty magazines are constructed with next generation long glass fiber polymer, offering enhanced strength, durability and stiffness. Although designed for the AR15/M4 platform, the Extreme Duty magazines can be used with a wide range of non-AR15/M4 platforms. IIRC, Academy withdrew “assault weapons” after a mass shooting. If so why would they be selling magazines for those “weapons of war”???

Dick’s stopped selling semi-automatic sports riffles but Academy still sells them. Dick’s is also probably about to go out of business for making such a poor decision. An AR-15 is not a weapon of war its just made to look like a Colt M16 or M4 which are fully Automatic, or burst or single shot. An AR-15 shots one bullet at a time just like every other semi-automatic gun including hand guns. Further more 5.56x 45 Nato is a round meant to maim and not kill its a very small round the size of a .22lr one of the smallest… Read more »

I prefer my AR10 (.308) for deer. AR15’s in the right hands can do a lot more than maim.
