Barrel: 20″ Chrome Moly vanadium steel, chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1:7 twist rate, M4 barrel extension, and a rifle length gas system. The A2-style profile barrel is nitride finished for accuracy and durability. Barrel is finished off with an .750″ diameter F-marked Front Sight Base, PSA Classic Handguards, and an A2 flash hider.

Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is made to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring machined T marks, and a Mil-Spec finish. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a Mil-Spec manufacturer.

Carry Handle Assembly: PSA Mil-Spec Carry Handle – Mil-Spec height carry handle for flat top AR-15, M16A4, M4, M4A1 rifles and carbines. Compatible with taller F marked front sight bases. Machined from 7075T6 forgings, hard coat anodized, staked thumb screws, A2 aperture, 6/3 windage drums.

    That carry handle sight of the A1 A2 etc comes eye level easy and is accurate. You don’t have to lay your head down to see the sights and enjoy the recoil right below your eye and cheek. Not a lot of recoil except after a few hundred rounds or more quickly. I won’t trade my Colt A1 or. A2 for a flat top any time soon. And it does make for a handy carry when you have more than one thing to carry and is a lot quicker to bring into play than from a sling. Didn’t usually carry… Read more »

    The carry handle comes right off, the upper has a rail just like your little carbine Doc. Palmetto is Great, I have been buying their stuff for years. Sure you can spend a lot more on an AR but for my money they can’t be beat.

    That long barrel and fixed carry handle look like they should be in a museum!
    I guess that’s the point of a retro rifle like this.
    So does the red dot go on the carry handle or on a z mount off the handle onto the handguards?
