Asheville, N.C. (Ammoland.com)Trailblazer® Firearms will be exhibiting at Booth 2262 during SHOT Show 2019, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan. 22 – 25, 2019, and will introduce firearms retailers to their newest model, the LifeCard .22 Magnum folding, single-shot pistol.

The company, Trailblazer Firearms, headquartered in the western part of North Carolina, home to many companies developing some of the leading machining technologies in the US, launched the LifeCard .22 LR folding, single-shot pistol in late 2017. The tiny pocket pistol filled the void between an EDC and a utility tool designed to eliminate vermin. Small enough to fit into the ubiquitous 5th pocket of a pair of Levi’s, the LifeCard took on a life of its own and exceeded company sales projections in its first year on the market.

The newest model, the LifeCard .22 Magnum, came as a result of customer requests and the company’s commitment to only producing products that met their high level of quality in form, function and performance. The new .22 Magnum will provide customers with the advantage of a more powerful cartridge without compromising the tiny overall size and shape.

“It took us seven years to bring the initial LifeCard concept to market,” Aaron Voigt, founder and president of Trailblazer Firearms, said. “We are in no hurry to create product that does not pass our rigorous testing or have the demand in the marketplace. The .22 Magnum passed both criteria and we are proud to add this new model to our LifeCard line.”

Would not use for a self defense weapon. It’s a cool novelty for the range.

As Rock says: It takes WAY too much time to deploy. This would only be good if you knew you would need it in advance, and that isn’t going to happen unless you are the aggressor. A single shot is NOT a viable defense weapon. Especially in defense situations.

That would be a big mistake. This is absolutely not a gun for self defense. You cannot carry it loaded, it’s a single shot 22LR and someone in a life threatening situation is not going to draw, load and aim this pea shooter. You thinking is dangerous. Either get them a gun made for protection and then have them trained properly on how to respond in a life threatening situation.

From the deceased former owners family that couldn’t pull from his pocket, unfold, lock and load before being murdered… The perp wouldn’t wait, he only had seconds to do his crime.
