Aguila 9mm 117 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point

USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Born from years of Aguila engineering and countless terminal ballistic tests, this defense and tactical round consistently hits dead center and cycles flawlessly.

Aguila 9mm Jacketed Hollow Point

The Aguila 9mm Jacketed Hollow Point rounds are lightweight and capable of moving at higher speeds than their heavier-weight counterparts. These defense rounds weigh 117-grains, comparable to the lighter grain weight of the typical 115-grain FMJ training ammo. The lighter bullet weight was designed to produce less recoil allowing for faster follow-up shots.

The 9mm Jacketed Hollow Point rounds begin to expand immediately on impact. The jackets were designed to control expansion, allowing the bullets to penetrate more deeply than standard Hollow Points, and also helps prevent lead fouling in the rifling of your barrel.

Available in 50 rd. boxes. Contact your local dealer to place your order.

I have been purchasing Aguila ammunition for years now. First it started with their .22 caliber but when I seen how accurate and dependable they were I buy them in the calibers of all my guns when I can find them.

Good for Aguila, in sticking with 50 rd boxes. Too bad the big ones here in the US treat their non-government customers as third class entities, only selling them 20 or maybe 25 round boxes for what a government customer pays for a 50 rd box.

It’s great that you guys are endorsing a product, I use and trust Aguila ammo for lots of things. How about showing us some test footage though? I’d really like to see expansion in gel or water buckets at 7 yards. That way we can see for ourselves how good the product is. Send a few boxes to Paul Harrell on YouTube and have him test it or something. Thanks.

@Dave, I did my own search and found no ballistic tests on this ammo.

Water is about a useless medium for bullet testing. At handgun velocities, a bullet hitting water might as well be hitting a stone wall. For useful expansion testing, gel is the best way to go, preferably with some testing done using the standard 4 layers of heavy denim.
