I have used Mec-Gars for years in many of my guns and they have always been of high quality and never failed. Mec-Gar makes many of the factory magazines for the major gun companies and their prices are always reasonable.

Mec gar makes an excellent product.
I believe that several companies use them as original factory magazines.
I have a 16 round Mec gar for my CZ 75 and it works perfectly
It’s also more shiny than my factory magazines!

Bought four Mec-Gar 1911 magazines for a class, because of the company’s good reputation. All four cracked and caused failure to feeds, they were junk. Mec-Gar told me to send them in and they’d replace them. I sent them but never got the replacements or any replies to e-mails or snail mail.

I own a few CZ factory 10-round mags for the 75 handgun. These Mec-Gar’s look interesting. Much cheaper, of course, but they also look very much like standard capacity mags.

Man, get out of here with that “we don’t like it, but…”.
YOU ARE PROFITEERING ON GUN CONTROL!
The prohibitionists want you to be limited to 10 rounds and want the industry’s help to do it. Stop giving them what they want!
Not only are you just bowing to the prohibitionists demands, joining their team and exploiting it for profit, but also undercutting arguments that can be made on the back of the Heller decision.

@Austin, while of COURSE the inane 10-round limitation is unconstitutional (duh), please keep in mind that folks living in Constitutional backwaters like NY, NJ, and CA *still* need to purchase magazines. If companies don’t build 10-round mags while these inane laws exist, where are those folks going to get ANY magazines? And if they cannot buy magazines AT ALL, that is defacto disarmament. Wouldn’t that give the left-wing prohibitionists even MORE of what they want?
