U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- Today for the build of the week, we are switching things up a bit with a classic pocket dump from one of our employees here at Rainier Arms. For many, the items they carry everyday tend to differ greatly from person to person depending on stylistic choices, as well as, individual needs. The typical pocket dump is centered around some sort handgun, holster, pocket knife, and a light. With many different options on the market for these items, the possibilities are endless.
To start, the firearm chosen for this pocket dump is a custom Glock 19 Gen 4. The reason the Glock was chosen is because it has an unmatched level of reliability, tons of aftermarket parts available, as well as a solid price for the base pistol. For many, this weapons platform also offers the ability to add some personal touches to make it truly unique to the owner.
This pistol has been fitted with the Agency Arms Glock 19 magwell and Agency Arms drop in trigger which is a very solid upgrade compared to the stock one Glock ships the pistol with. The MARS ambi mag release adds some enhanced texture to the pistol in case your hands get sweaty or slippery and the Inforce weapon light allows the user to maximize their ability for low light engagements should the need arise.
The custom slide is built up with the Night Fision Rainier Arms exclusive suppressor sights which co-witness perfectly with the Trijicon Type 2 RMR with the 6.5 MOA dot. Internally, the barrel is from Killer Innovations and since it is threaded, allows for the use of compensators or suppressors.
The holster chosen is the ANR Design Glock 19 option able to accommodate a Inforce APLc weapon light. If you are ever forced to draw your weapon for any reason, statistically it will happen in some sort of low light scenario. That is why a weapon light is a must for a concealed carry weapon. You are always accountable for every shot you take so if you can’t see it, you shouldn’t shoot it.
The handheld flashlight shown here is the Manker E11 Mini Pocket EDC flashlight. You may ask why carry another flash light if you already have one on the gun. The answer is quite simple. There are many times throughout your day you may need a flashlight, and since you can’t just unholster your pistol everytime you need some extra light, a secondary flashlight is very handy.
Now there are thousands of EDC knife options one can pick to run. Some are more utilitarian, while others take on a bit more of an aggressive stance. The knife chosen for this pocket dump is the Pocket Peak folding knife by Amare Knives. It is definitely not the most expensive option available, but it serves its purpose well. It’s made in Sweden from 14C28N Steel and holds up to extended use. For the most part, a pocket knife will be used for hundreds of tasks. Whether that be opening an Amazon box, cutting rope, getting into impossible packaging, slicing up your favorite Reindeer sausage, or actually defending yourself, your knife will be one of the most used things in your pocket. So make sure you choose a good one.
To finish off the contends in this pocket dump, there is the typical set of keys, wallet and of of course an awesome watch. Even though a lot of us our phones for the time, there’s still something classy about a watch.
