First of all, you don’t point a pistol, a colored or transparent water gun, a wallet with your ID or a cell phone at a police officer. You can purchase a real pistol in any color you wish, and police are well aware of this. A suspect in NYC was shot multiple times in the stairwell of his apartment building when he didn’t follow shouted directions and instead pulled his wallet out; wallet-like disguise holsters were readily available then. And recall the news articles about cellphone pistols? Having a popular carry pistol in BB or airsoft caliber is a perfect… Read more »

People are missing the point here. BB guns are not for kids and are not toys. No one in their right mind should give this as a toy to a child.

However, it is a great tool to introduce novice shooters to handguns so they can work on the fundamentals of grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger press without the loud bang that causes people to develop a flinch reaction when pulling the trigger.

I’m definitely going to look into this one when it hits the market.

Why make a BB gun that looks like the real thing? What a bunch of dumb marketing folks. Wait for the first kid to get shot by the police where that BB gun is mistaken for the real thing.

These are not for kids! I use them to practice form and grib when I can’t get to the range. Be a parent and don’t buy one for your kids they are intended for a adult shooter to practice his form. People with that type of comment are not pistol shooters and probably anti gun. These are tools used by honest gun owners who enjoy target shooting. Also great for practicing drawing your weapon in home defence.

You are spot on. There will always be people that have negative comments. Some instructors use bb guns for training their students. Be safe and carry on.
