GLOCK Debuts New Pistol, New Spokesperson & New Designer Experience at NRA Annual Meetings 2019

SMYRNA, Ga.-(Ammoland.com)- The 2019 NRA Annual meeting wrapped on April 28 with 81,283 total attendees and over 800 exhibitors. Many from the firearms industry were in attendance, including GLOCK, Inc., one of the leading innovators and manufacturers of pistols and firearms gear.

The Company debuted its newest pistol at the show — the GLOCK 45 MOS — which meets growing market demand for an easy way to mount popular optics without expensive slide alterations.

“The GLOCK 45 MOS has all the same features as the previous GLOCK 45 model, including the front serrations, the nDLC finish, the full-sized frame with the compact slide and the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, but now with the MOS platform” said Shane Coley, Team GLOCK Captain and long-time competitive shooter. “The Modular Optic System on the GLOCK 45 MOS provides cover and adapter plates that allow consumers to mount any optics they want.”

GLOCK also premiered an interactive designer experience, where participants could build their own pistol by choosing a slide type, frame type, caliber, colors, sights and more. With over 900 submissions, the GLOCK Designer Experience garnered much interest among attendees. And all who participated were entered to win a trip to the GLOCK headquarters, travel and expenses included.

Additionally, NRA was Chuck Norris’s first public appearance as GLOCK’s new spokesperson. Show attendees could visit the GLOCK booth to “kick it with Chuck,” and snap a photo with the world champion martial artist. Lines to meet him wrapped around the exhibit hall, rivaling those to see the President, who was also in attendance.

The 2019 NRA Annual Meeting was a successful event on many fronts. To learn more about the new GLOCK 45 MOS, the new GLOCK Designer Experience and GLOCK’s partnership with Chuck Norris, visit us.glock.com.

I have had and still have Glocks which I dearly love and shoot regularly, but the prices have gone through the roof and I recently took a chance and purchased a Remington RP9 ( I know the stories and bad press, but the price alone justified the risk), which has turned out to be the most accurate out-of-the-box 9mm I have ever shot with no FTFs after 500+ rounds of mixed ammo. I would have gone with a Glock 34, but the price, even of a used one, changed my mind, and frankly, I’m grateful to Glock for it and… Read more »

This is not a glock problem. This is a California problem. I live in MT and Glock is still alive and well in this free State!

Wish all manufacturers would stop using my money to supply California with weapons that meet their safety standards , and only their standards including all weapons not just those for retail sale.

Amen brother. Complying and retooling for California insanity standards costs the manufacturers time and money which in turn has the rest of us paying beaucoup bucks more than we should for our firearms, ammo and accessories. Rain on California.
