    1. When the kicking and screaming stops, do a little searching as to how and when the nonsense really started, Nixon left office and started the dialog with the Chinese, then the politicians and business people thought it was great, what was the saying during WWII ( Loose Lips Sink Ships ) we sure had that after Nixon, and you are right China doesn’t do R&D work they steal tech from other countries, why do you think they want all outside mfg set up in their country, it is easier to steal the tech there as not to have to take the chance of getting caught doing it in another country?????? Why do you think they thy to send students to the U S for educations to go back to China??????? Dumb as a box of ROCKS!!!!! AND I don’t have a college degree to figure that out!!!!!!!!

    2. Whatever happened to “government isn’t the solution to our problems, government is the problem?” Reagan said that and yet you all have forgotten it, begging your government to impose new taxes (tariffs) to protect you from the scary world of free trade. You know who else has been calling for tariffs and an end to free trade for years? The Democratic Socialists of America. Fake conseratives…

    3. President Trump has been borrowing money from China to pay American soybean farmers for the crops they can’t sell to China because of the trade war. So much winning.

    4. I live in the mountains of North East Victoria, Australia – Rebel Country. I sent this message to a good friend in Moutain Home Arkansas this week. Oh yeah, I’m a farm boy who became a mechanic, then trade teacher.
When I was a little kid in the 60s we supplied the nation with Dairy products, Vegetables and Beef.
In return we bought Holden cars, IH trucks and Tractors, Westinghouse fridges, and clothing and footwear all manufactured and DESIGNED , not just in Australia, but (despite US ownership on the big stuff) in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. That’s right, within a 15 mile radius of our farm.
All through the 60s the AUD was consistently worth $1:10 – $1:15 USD. Hell, my sister spent 8 months of 1977 in the US and the exchange rate on her departure was $1:21 USD per AUD! Yes Virginia, we had tariffs.

Tariffs don’t work? HOG FUCKIN’ WASH! Germany/Japan/France/Italy/China. All those “trading partners”, you know, former enemies at one time or another, have HUGE, protectionist tariffs. Why is it that only the dumb, polite Christian countries naively want “free” trade?

Chinese came here, not as farmers (as the current left would have you believe) but to make MONEY! They tried everything. Railway Construction, Mining, Market Gardening, Laundries. Anything that would make them more money that in that overpopulated medieval cesspool called China.
They were called industrious. And yes they were, opium ensured that. But did they invest in the new land? Hell no! They embalmed their dead, after gutting them and filling them with gold, to send back to “Mother China” The few that stayed rarely assimilated – I know this was partly due to white suspicion, but Jesus! even red, black and brown men assimilated more than the yella fella in the 1800s.
The ones that stayed, mostly hung on as small time market gardeners or cooks (hop sing) on outback cattle stations, only because they didn’t make enough to go home to China First Class.

      Yes Brother, Trump was right!
The USA is much the same as Australia – full of good and bad people. We must keep fighting the bad.

    5. Much of this tariff trade will take care of their economy but it won’t affect the ruling class. They will still be living the good life and the poor workers will starve.
On the other side of the coin, there are those screaming that our farmers are going to suffer. Well, we all have to take a little downturn until this is over. We have actually built the Chinese military to where it may be strong enough to assault us by letting them use us as their piggy bank. It is past time that obama stuck his big a$$ in the air and apologized to them. No one needs to apologize to communists. Good for Trump to stand up to them and he is doing it without causing a lot of yelling and bad feelings.

      1. @Tcat, Some screamers can only see things through a business lens. The POTUS has to see situations through business and strategic lens.
The Chinese are interesting. The Chinese do not in vest in R&D. They invest in espionage, and let other nations do the R&D. While Americans use artificial intelligence to promote business and make driverless cars, the Chinese use AI for Autonomous Killing Machines (AKMs).

    6. Nafta is the problem and Clitton is the reason. We never should have been the nation concerned about communist nations welfare. Sure things got cheaper but the quality fell in the sewer. I remember back in the 80’s when it said made in Japan, Tiwan, Phillipenes we used to think of it as junk. Now I wish I had it back and even more I want “made in the U.S.A.” and I want it to be quality like it was. We need to be a self supporting country again. When we do this we will regain our strength through commerce in our own country. When things are equalized I think most Americans would rather buy American and we will again be the creator’s, inventor’s and again be the makers as well. God bless the U.S.A. and President Trump.

    7. Does anybody else see a rather perverted cartoon abo e?? I’m absolutely LMFAO. That’s truly how I always pictured that POS. I mean is he bowing or doing what he always did best when it came to all of our enemies? I believe it’s the latter. Congrats to the artist of capturing the true essence of the former imposter-in-chief, that’s him doing what he learned from his husband, Michael

    8. The Chinese can whine, complain and threaten repercussions all they want, over US imposed trade tariffs. At the end of the day, they can no longer get away with screwing their biggest customer. Trump knows this and has called their bluff. Now China gets to dance to his tune.
